  • She's down again for mantinence :(

  • why was the bell changed???

  • This was taken back when the light setup looked alot nicer then how it;s currently setup. I thought it looked better how the headlight was on top rather then in the middle like it currently is. I don't like how the bell is right in front.. I can't get used to it.

  • Why did they even make all those changes?

  • You forgot she was on the W&W for quite a while. Never used due to paperwork issues, but was steamed at least once.

Now both VFSRR engines are in steam.

  • Welcome back old lady. You have been missed.

Congrats fellas on a great job.... and thanks.

  • yep, old gm&n 425, gm&o 580, used to spend alota time at jackson tn's iselin shop in the mid 1940's, old gm&o employee i know used to work on her all the time, , he says it once had a brass souhtern valve gear

  • That is all very true! =D

  • Clarkson University has a steam whistle in their hockey arena and they blow it to begin and end periods and whenever a goal is scored. So I now associate that nice train whistle with hockey!

  • That is a great video. So exciting to think it is back.

  • Steam lives on, so nice to see some people with the real heart for railroading, thanks for posting the video!

  • The whistle is not the same as the one that has been on the 142. The one that was on it for the photo freight belongs to a RBMN employee. The whistle that was on the 425 on Saturday belongs to Andy.

  • Everyone loves the 425! She will probably be used for the scenic trains instead of the diesels.

  • My favorite locomotive! She's back!!

  • thats the same reading 6 chime they used on the susquehanna 142 durning their railfan weekend this year!

  • Awesome 5*!!!!!!!!!!

  • He was, who do you think was engineering the locomotive? It was none other then Andy Muller him self.

    Len.

  • Nice job dude! It turned out well.

  • I can't get enough of the 425, and boy did we get lucky. She is a beautiful blue locomotive. Kind of reminds me of Thomas. :)

  • Is that why that guy mentioned Sir Thopam hat?

  • Beats me! Maybe Sir Thopam Hat was on the train. ;)

  • Nice catch , maybe he watches Tomas the tank enigne and actinking like hes one of those trains lol

  • @o00o00ozy LOL, dude.
