I keep getting this error message saying "the stage information cannot be read" help! i read somewhere that rar dumped the files in the wrong spot but i don't know were to look. i have vista btw

In the game Pretty Soldier Wars A.D. 2048 and Vista, sometimes the message "The stage information file cannot be read" will be displayed. To fix this, make sure you're running the game as Administrator. You can modify the game's desktop alias so that the game is always run in Administrator mode automatically. (This is specifically noted in the game manual, too.)

Ugh how the hell you could evade so many times?

A good strategy is ganging your characters against 1-2 enemies at a time, on narrow corridors (300- style). Take your two pistol wielding characters (who are fastest) and rush them to block the corridor where the monsters come out (the tile next to where the red blob thing stands at 0:09). When a character takes too much damage, switch another one in and keep blasting. On open levels it is more tricky, but the tip is always trying to kill one enemy at a time

@anhnhvn LOL that will takes hours to defeat them. Because they will run everywhere on the map which is really annoying.

@kujahhhhaaaaaaaaaaa Nope it took me 30 minutes. They always run towards me. And by the way I turned off movements which sped up the game by about 3 times.

@kujahhhhaaaaaaaaaaa Nope it took me about 20 minutes to kill all those creeps. They always rush towards my squad. And by the way I turned off movements and skips all dialogs, which sped up the game by 3-4 times. This is one of the easiest maps in the game, as the majority of enemies can be easily blocked.

i know this is a stupid question but: does leveling up actually do anything? cuz it seems like the stats didn't change for the characters.

lol I like SRPGs, but this looks terrible and the characters constantly saying they've evaded or missed or been hit is incredibly annoying.

I got this game a couple of days ago. It's awesome.

It's pretty hard but if you manage to think up a good enough tactic you can get through most obstacles with minimal losses.

It took me three attempts to think up an effective strategy for this map though...

It's hard and I love that in these kinds of games.

I wouldnt get this game if i were you, unless you like having your units miss constantly and having to face ridiculous numbers of enemies without rest.

use daemontools
