When buying for touchscreen kit for either models you really should measure the specific dimensions you want to be covered with touchscreen film as I have noticed that some kit's have smaller touch areas even though they say it's a 10.2" kit. Have fun modifying just keep in mind that this is not a straight forward conversion.
Also there is barely enough room inside the chassis for touchscreen controller. Wiring is straight forward enough with some soldering and I used the usb port for the 3rd usb port that's supposed to have thumb drive in it. I also fried one touchscreen controller during installation but that was only because of carelessness.
For tocuhscreen I used some 10.2" touchscreen kit from ebay, I think it was for Asus netbook. The glass screen cover has to be removed and there is really no room to reinstall it in any way afterwards. I tried trimming it to the size of screen but it broke like glass.
how many inches is this screen? about 10 " diagonally rite?
