  • Well played! Certainly have to rewatch this anime again.

  • Its been a long time my friend =)

This so beautiful...great work on this.

    Is it a good anime?

  • @MrSpid3rFingers hey hey my man! it has been a looong time, almost an epicly long time! thanks for the kudos man, and unfortunately i've not actually seen the anime :/ hope that you're keeping well man and thanks for the comment ^____^

  • Nice. Sounds very soft and emotional.

  • @captainsunder009 hi hi ^____^ yes, that's exactly what this piece is meant to be! its funny how so few notes can convey such meaning :P thanks for the kind words :)))

  • Very nice!

  • @avitron142 hey hey! yeah, there something about the simplicity of this melody that just immediately drew the attention of my ear! thanks for the comment and wishing you the best! ^___^

  • There's also a Christmas song from ToraDora which you could consider playing for us this time of year ;)

  • @EmphaticItalic hi hi ^___^ ahhhh, thanks for the suggestion! i've just checked it out! i assume you mean the song 'holy christmas' :P haha, pretty catchy i must say! we'll see then :) thanks once again for the suggestion and wishing you the very best :)))

  • @daigoro789 Thanks for your kind reply. Was unexpected. ^_^

  • What can really be disturbing on grand pianos is the una corda pedal shifting the whole keyboard to the right. That's the kind of thing you'd rather not discover during a concert! :)

  • @3llianX haha! yes, goodness me, i can remember the first time i saw this and was totally confused by it! i remember quizzing my piano teacher at the time all about it, and lifting the flap of the piano and trying to work out what mechanisms were at play whilst the pedal was depressed! i still find it quite a 'trippy' experience to this day! thanks for the comment and wishing you the best :)))

  • I haven't played Essex or Steinway, but Yamaha C3 and C2.

They are fantastic, and they are superior and easier and faster to play conpared to digital pianos.

  • @CleverDjembe hi hi :) i find that essex and steinways feel alot 'looser' under finger than yamaha grands. although, i def prefer to play on yamahas, although i think that is mainly due to bias from having played on my yamaha upright for so long! yes, i definitely agree that they are alot easier to play on, as soon as you've managed to 'control' the faster response and pianistic key mechanism of grands they are far superior in almost every way to play on! thanks for the insightful comment ^____^

  • Well that's ironic, I just started to play that song not half an hour ago. XD

I have a ditital and a baby grand, and I much prefer my baby grand. Its sound is just so much nicer.

  • @starfire139 haha! that is a funny coincidence! is it the exact same arrangement? i wish you the best with it - it really is a very beautiful melody! man, you're so lucky to have a baby grand too! i have just the upright and digital although i do hope to get a baby grand sometime down the line :P wishing you the best with your piano studies and thank for dropping by :)))

  • @daigoro789 Oops, digital* XD

Nope, we did different arrangements. I was trying to find one that wasn't going to be played as much (because we all know how popular Josh's site is) so I found an arrangement from a user on Nico Nico Douga (I think... some of the writing about who arranged it at the top of the sheets is in Chinese so I can't read it).

^^ My parents are divorced so I have a digital at one house and the baby grand at the other.

    Thanks and you're welcome~

  • Nice to see you try out some anime music.

  • @kaputasri hey hey :) yeah, a bit of a change from my usual VGM based uploads, although i have recorded a few studio ghibli pieces and aim to do more in future too :P thanks for the comment and wishing you all the best :)))

  • May I have Piano sheets plz?

  • @ExaltedXero hi hi! ahhhh, thanks for the question and good call! my oversight there! i'll add a link to the sheets in the description box above! thanks for noticing and wishing you all the best ^____^

  • hah, i know what you're talking about, i'm regularly practicing on a digital and when i get to play on a grand piano, i have to adjust quite a bit. your book looks highly interesting by the way, i still remember much i read about Kierkegaard. i'll definitely look into it when i have the time. keep it up!

  • @Sorcerer88 (1) hey hey :) yeah, the switch between piano types can really throw me! btw, i looove the grand in your videos! thanks for the comment about my book! yes, i only really discovered kierkegaard fairly recently but found him to be such a fascinating individual that i just had to use him as a character in my novel! it really was a pleasure to write, although very demanding, and took a loooong time as you could imagine!

  • @daigoro789 (2) i'm glad that a platform such as amazon kindle exists so that i can share it with people relatively easily! thanks for the comment and wishing you all the best with your own studies, pianistic and otherwise ^_____^

  • It's only until just recently that I'm able to understand what you mean about grand pianos. I'm used to playing on digitals and uprights so playing on a grand caught me off guard. In a good way :D

Anyway, this was excellent! I have not watched the series but it's a nice song based on this video. Keep up the videos please ^^

  • @JezzAngel hey hey ^____^ yeah, oh man! playing on a grand is soooo different! as it is for all three types of pianos! i'm definitely the most used to playing on an upright though, which i guess has its advantages as they are the most demanding of the three! thanks for the comment, at least for the meantime i'm going to try to keep fairly regular with my uploads, and maybe even do one or two more on a grand :P thanks once again and wishing you all the best :)))

  • Lovely Notes ^-^

    weeeeee :D

  • @RanvirPiano hey hey! yeah, not that many notes in this piece but all of them a precious ringing bell! take care my man and all the best for the exam - you'll ace it for sure ^^^___^^^

  • <3 Better than Zorsy.

Loljk you guys are equally amazing <3 <3

  • @xclassicalcatx haha, thanks! although i have no idea who this 'zorsy' you say, character is??? i'm sure he must be pretty good though! wishing you a spiffing day ^_____^

  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

    <333333333333

  • @Zorsy why...are...there...tears...forming...

  • i am always surprised how I cannot know the names of the pieces that you play, because of how amazing your playing is, it has to be a famous song

you always play so wonderful :) (*he says whilst lazily scratching his belly and burping*)

...and yes, I copied that last sentence from a good pianist friend ;))

  • @Raidon90 hey hey :) interesting quote - i bet that pianist, whoever he is loves his fizzy drinks, haha :))) yeah, well, this piece i only discovered recently, and i just wanted to test record something simple for this video so it seemed perfect for the job! all the best my man!!!
