  • Love the bare feet haah

  • he is from RIOT.AND THE NEW ALBUM IS COMING ON NOVEMBER 21ST.

    THE THUNDERSTEEL FORMATION.

  • Que,batera barriu,pai.

  • A-:¦:-W-:¦:-E-:¦:-S-:¦:-O-:¦:-M-:¦:-E:

  • Bobby is expressly more musical + percussively imaginative than Mangini.

Mangini is all technique with no discernible sensibility except for speed.

  • 0:27-0:39 , he is giving that cymbol the stare of death

  • ahm i just realized that he's looking like the big lebowski- dude!!

  • @LHondrums well, that's just like your opinion

    hahaha

  • super great drumming, man he is technical but still rockin!!

  • I WENT HIGH SCHOOL WITH HIM..HE WAS A PHENOM BACK THEN TOO…..

  • omg that kicked ass like hell!

  • There is no 'next level' of mastery beyond this stage.

  • Saw this guy at Prog Power USA playing with Fate's Warning for their reunion show and it was nothing less that jaw dropping. Phenomenal drummer. Made playing that technical stuff look easy.

  • Bobby Jarzombek: Live from the 7TH CIRCLE OF HELL.

  • Someone should write a guitar track over the awesomeness that is Bobby Jarzombek here!

  • Comment removed

  • hell yeah

  • Bobby looks like Tom Green with long hair xD

  • f**k !!! that was awesome .

  • put the midi track of this up!

  • Don't panic, people. One Bobby Jarzombek comes with each product.

  • Player is really good and the drum sounds are killer, much better then SSD

  • he looks like jesus x)

  • This guy should've been among the auditioning drummers for Dream Theater. I'm pretty sure he would've been a big favorite. Oh well... Mangini is very good but they really missed out on Bobby.

  • @outlaw6066 yap...he is drumm genius....but i think he cant play slower cause fallen asleep

  • @outlaw6066 Not every drummer wants to play for Dream Theater. I'm sure Bobby wants to create his own legacy. Not be remembered as the guy who played Portnoy's recordings and replaced him.

  • The face he makes with the little ending hit after 2:33 is hilarious.

  • he is not that good...he's just lucky.....lucky hits....that's what i see...

  • Well Hell!!

  • 2:38. And he's not even exhausted. Bobby is a fuckin' drumming machine!

  • It's not fair to be that good!!! FUCK!

  • he is the best rock drummer i,ve ever seen!

  • Boromir playing drums :) kiss ass drummer BTW

  • Holy crap!!

  • fuck yeah !

    i love this guy !

  • dream theater drumer...danny carey?lol danny carey is a noob

  • @Z4nk0 yeah ok, a noob that pulls out polyrhythms like my dick pulls out of your mom, which is about five times a night. Danny would be an upgrade for dream theater. But he wouldn't lower himself.

  • @PoeticJustice05 1, and I did not messed with anyone in your family, which proves you are an immature child of shit. (I can get with your family from hell, but I have more education)

2 ° An update to Dream Theater? I think it would be a delay for Dream Theater, as Danny Carey does not even reach the average level of portnoy.

3 º I see you are an immature child music besides patetico.Escucha shit ... and then more music and please answer me ..

  • @Z4nk0

1- yeah, I'm a child, this from the guy who says "noob."

2 - I have all the Tool albums, and most of the Dream Theater albums. Danny Carey is a much more musical player than Mike Portnoy, he makes much better use of polyrythms; he incorporates his hands a lot more, and has much better hand technique. listen to some Tool, then listen to ZAUM, and listen to music in general, and you will see what I'm talking about. And learn to speak English o si no mejor hablamos en Espanol chamo.

  • He is not left handed, just ambidextrous!

  • El qliao capo

  • caveman bobby like play drums!!!

  • THE BEST DRUMMER I HAVE EVER SEEN! AMAZING!

  • Bobby needs to be A7X's new drummer. No doubt!!!

  • @outlaw6066 With all respect: Bobby is too much for our A7X friends. They're great, they are cool but, they belong to a different way of making music. If you dont't trust me, go and compare "Afterlife" from A7X with "Peppered cancer" from Spastic Ink. Both are very good, but... there's no point where they could meet.

    Greetings!

  • @outlaw6066 Jesus Christ, you're an heretic!

  • bobby jarzombek=ninja on drums lllooollssss

  • Geez, did Michael Bay direct this?

  • this guy is amazing 0.o

  • ultra fucking awesome

  • Haven't seen a new video of this guy in days. this is excellent.

  • looks like thordendal behind a drum kit

  • @Madvillian01 or a skinne Jesse Ventura with long hair :D

  • I don't think the little thing at the bottom left can keep up with him...

  • FUCK!!

  • he's not left handed. hes just a great drummer.

  • Wowwwwwwwwww!!.. a great drummer!!..

  • Big Furry Drumset

  • 4 people are fagets... and deaf

  • THOR!

  • Satan on the phone with his buddies, "Dude i got this guy Bobby Jarzombek down here. HES AMAZING!"

  • Bobby, you´re my favorite drummer and you play along with my favorite singer! How cool is that!? Thanks for your great music!

  • great drum!!

  • crazy vato ;)

  • Very nice playing. I will say that the samples seem much better when you're listening on non-laptop speakers, I swear!

    -mikey

  • he str8 beastin put him in a cage for that

  • what the fuck just happened?

  • MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think that Aquiles Priester is most better for Dream Theater. Bobby Jarzombek is a good drummer, but he is like Portnoy. Dream Theater need a drummer with a new style.

  • @metalraphael Bobby isn't a Portnoy spin off. He is on the music scene before Mike (since 1986, Mike made his debut in 1989). Listen to his work with Riot, Halford, Spastic Ink and you'll realize how he is underrated. Mike is doing the same things since the last 10 years, Bobby is more skilled and versatile than him.

  • @ter50 you forget Demons & Wizards! lml-_-lml

  • @ter50 Portnoy has NOTHING (but really nothing trust me !) on Bobby, what a monster ...

  • @sexypoulpe I already knew that dude!

  • @ter50 Don't Forget he toured with ANNIHILATOR ,Fates Warning, and ,, Iced Earth.

  • This is the best replacement for Dream Theater.

  • AWESOME!!!!

  • @Alixbox1723

    Bobby is predominantly right-handed.

  • @PlatinumSamples bobby is no only righ-handed, he's god too

  • @PlatinumSamples with great confidence i can say you are very wrong. Bobby is predominantly quad-limbed.

  • @Alixbox1723 it's called open handed

  • @Alixbox1723 It's open hand technique. Uses his left hand to lead the hihat/ride. He has said it gives him more flexibility around the kit instead of being locked in

  • @Alixbox1723 From what I heard, his unorthodox style is due to the fact that he just prefers not to have his arms crossed while playing, but he has the ability to play either style.

  • @Alixbox1723 he plays his fills righty. simon phillips and a drummer for jeff beck in the 70's used to play this way

  • @Alixbox1723 righ handed open handed matched grip feet on bass drums lol.

  • @Alixbox1723 He just plays open-style.

  • @Alixbox1723 He is a righty, and started playing drums normal, but when he was young he decided to switch to what he uses now. Its called playing open-handed.

  • @Alixbox1723 He is right-handed but he likes to lead with his left, makes him more dexter.

  • @Alixbox1723 no he plays open handed

  • @Alixbox1723 It's called "open hand" technique. Billy Cobham (considered the originator) and Carter Beauford are some the best-known open-hand players.

  • @Alixbox1723 He is open handed

  • @Alixbox1723 The drumming style is called open-handed I believe. On Bobby's website he talks about it. Drummers like Carter Beauford, John Blackwell, Mike Mangini, Gene Hoglan, Terry Bozzio, Randy Black, and many other drummers are starting to accept this style for its many benefits.

  • @Alixbox1723 This guy's a perfect example for an ambidexterious musician. As PlatinumSamples say, he's Predominantly right-handed, however if you check out the Peppered Cancer video, it's obvious that his left hand is equaly involved as his right hand. As a lefthanded person, I'd play the same way as him, hitting the hi-hat with my left hand on the left side, and the snare with the right, but acomplishing what he does is impossible, 'cause my right hand is not involved in drumming as the left.

  • @Alixbox1723 he is right handed, just playing with an open stance

  • @Alixbox1723 Technically it's called "open handed". Carter Beuford and many other greats play the same way. If it was true left handed, the toms would go to the left instead of the right. Mike Bordin is another name that comes to mind. You Tube search "open handed drumming" or anything like that and check it out.

  • @Alixbox1723 He is just playing an open-handed technique

  • @Alixbox1723 He plays in the open grip style similar to Dave Matthew's drummer. He explains his preference on his DVD.

  • @Alixbox1723 You're both correct in your observation. He does the ride to the left, despite being right-handed, because he likes the freedom of being able to work the toms with his dominant hand whilst doing ride patterns.

  • MONSTERRR DRUMMER!!!

  • !!!

  • damn his left foot is the stronger foot wow

  • i,m not shure if this guy is human! sick drums !

  • he is not a human.he is a drummer android version 1.0

  • He is awesome.

  • check him out on Riot's 'sons of society' album. i feel it's his best recording with a group. not to mention, the album itself is a masterpiece.

  • whoa he looks like big lebowski in this video : D

  • Bobby is the best at what he does,I've also heard some jazz and he's super at that also...and these are the best sounding e-drums I've heard.I wonder how they would sound in a lager amplified arena...I saw Heart live and the drummers e- kit sounded very crappy

  • @lysyrg25 The kit is electric. But the sound is acoustic, because it is sampled from acoustic.

  • @ransisua

    Thus the "BFD" drums inset.

  • this guys more in time than his click track!

  • He is one heavy duty technician!!

  • Bobby looks like Jeff Hanneman of Slayer LOL! What a great drummer, he is one of my biggest influences! Highly underrated!

  • DAMN!

  • He's an amazing drummer. its perfect so tight! Sound so cool 0:28-1:25

  • EXCELENT

  • good

  • awesome! especially the background! :D

  • This is TOO fucking awesome :)

  • Killing Adler at his own game. Nice.

  • kiiick aaasss

  • Awesome, im more in the jazz genre, dont really listen to metal like this but im sure this is how its supposed to sound. Good stuff dude...

  • Unbelievable, wouldn't notice the difference between an acoustic drum kit and this electric one. Then again it is very expensive!

  • I just met him yesterday in the Sebastian Bach - GN'R concert in Lima Peru and he's truly an amazing person, super nice and down-to-earth guy... and plus of course and incredible drummer!!!!

  • Bobby is f*****g crazy!!! That is the shit...

  • this is the best e-drum demo i have ever seen. can anyone tell me what is the make and model of electric kit he is using? i see the yamaha logo but that could be the brand of rack, not the pads.

  • The kit is a Yamaha DTXtremeIII Special

    Thanks.

  • @PlatinumSamples how much was it

  • @MrGolddigger1234

The DTXtremeIII Special has been discontinued and replaced with the DTX950K, the III SP was about $3k

The samples (Evil Drums/BFD2) can be triggered by any Electronic Kit though.

    Cheers.

  • Too bad the equipment won't make you sound like Bobby Jarzombek. If you haven't heard it, check out Spastic Ink. His brother on guitar. The earlier the better.

  • @maskedman72

It's not so much the kit as it is the software he's using. The kit is nothing but a set of triggers for the BFD2 software. I bought a Roland TD4SX kit for $1,200 and the BFD2 software and it sounds this good, with this much functionality. Total cost for software and kit with pedals and throne was $1,800.

Not to mention the software has expansion packs so you can always expand the amount of drum kits you own. Also the BFD2 software allows you to mix and produce.

  • fuuuuck!!!

  • Da MAN IZ da shit!

  • Triggers??

  • @MrBobo131313 you my friend are a dumb fuck

  • The same for you looooooooooool

  • Well its kinda obvious its triggered ITS ELECTRONIC

  • Bobby and Danny Carey are the very best if you ask ME. Love 'em

  • damn man you just read my mind

  • Damn that was an impressive demo! I'd just like to know where he hides his other 2 arms...

(oh and where Danny Carey hides his other 4 arms)!!

  • ^^^^^ Kneels before the drum god^^^^^ Keep Rockin Bobby !

  • Bobby kick a lot of asses, jesus!

  • Alien drummer

  • Bobby's only problem and sort of an advantage too, is that he's not human!! LOL

  • bobby and ron jarzombek are from other universe.

  • that is very big and very good and i dont know the dog because its cat and mouse that very strange yoyo wish rocket the umbrella

  • wow that bass is so amazing :0

  • can u play in my band??

  • Well they're not :D

  • omg...!!! fabulous

  • woow sounds like real drums and not electronic at all! incredible! i need that thing as well!

  • Dude is real good

  • INCREDIBLE!!!!!!

  • What a fucking monster!!!! I was inspired years ago by Marco Minneman now you have inspired me and my drumming. I would love to own that drum set!!!!

  • Best drummer of his generation!

  • Brumkit From Dell?

  • ROFL

  • WOW!!!

  • thats sick shit man ...you rock!

Pff... Travis Barker, leyenda. xD Por favor.

    Long live Prog. metal.

Bob Jarzombek eats Travis barkers pieces for breakfast.

  • Bobby - i like your drumming very much-

  • True Legend!!!

  • monster!!!

  • Holy fuck!? Thiz is the reason why i prefer progressive/power drummers over death metal drummers. Bobby is the virgil donati of metal.

  • Bobby is a great drummer. love his playing in halford. he always seems like a really nice guy as well. kick ass! =)

  • The middle had some great 5 note grouping/cymbal accents in sextuplet rate. Bobby can seamlessly blend such an array of phrasings and ideas, he's got it down!

  • Great stuff!! I really like the fire background too! Thanks.
