Hi Bob Dylan fans! If you love Bob, I’m sure you’re gonna love me too. I made an apocalyptic song called "A Winter Evening's Tale" which I dedicate to him. This is for all of us folks facing 2011. Do check it out in my channel or check it out in the video response of my fav. video. The song references Pilgrim's Progress, bible, Alice in the wonderland, peter pan, Shakespeare, Revelations, crusades etc. It also depicts eerie classical paintings. Have a creepy and folky new year!
Someday Baby is not originally by Bob Dylan, it was written by Sleepy John Estes. It's been covered countless times, under many different titles by Big Joe Williams, Muddy Waters, Big Maceo Merriweather, Mississippi Fred McDowell, Ray Charles, The Animals, and many others, long before Mumbles got ahold of it. Educate yourself about music.
Sleepy John in all likelihood didn't write it, he was just the first artist known to have recorded it. The song itself is traditional and has many variants with titles such as WORRIED LIFE BLUES, TROUBLE NO MORE, etc. As with many of Dylan's songs throughout his career, he used the traditional blues trope as a framework and wrote his own song around it. It's Dylan's lyrics that she's singing.
Not Bob Dylan, just a classic folk song first recorded by the great Sleepy John Estes

@krisolinger1 True sir. The song Workingman's Blues # 2 can also be attributed to Sleepy John, though only as a tribute.
