  • we want bobcat

  • There's another opening from 1993-this time for the grand final of the State Of Origin challenge that was uploaded recently by someone on here at:

    youtube.com/watch?v=VPufaSknIQc

  • It felt weird seeing Glenn Ridge walking out onto this set because I used to associate this particular set with Tony Barber. The different set used from the following year in 1994 is what I associate Glenn Ridge with.

  • damn. wish someone had access to the episode of SOTC that had bobcat goldthwait on it annoying the crap out of sophie formica.

one of the best things on aussie tv ever.

someone, anyone who can, please find and post it.

  • Parts of this this episode of SOTC was seen in the 15th anniversity of SOTC in 1995. Jane Kennedy was really pissed after her defeat on SOTC. It was funny as hell.

  • Sale Of The Century was not just a game show, but also a comedy show at the same time.

  • only a stupid footballer would marry jo.

  • Hey, do you have any more Aussie SOTC episodes?

  • nope sorry

  • From 5:28 to 6:13 is hillarious!

  • So, Mitt. When SOTC in the USA got cancelled, did you visit the SOTC down under?

  • No, I've never been to Australia. We were very busy in LA developing new shows when SOTC was cancelled.

  • Has the person who has the "Stupid Game Show Answers" website seen this? There's a hilarious stupid answer at 5:52 that deserves to be put on his site.

Glenn:"What do we call the brother of your wife?"

    Andrew:"Oh, John."

Glenn:"We've gotta mark you wrong there."

Andrew:"You asking what do you call the brother of my wife?"

Glenn:"We happened to do some research here and no one on the panel tonight is married. So consequently we know for a fact you in actual fact don't have a brother-in-law."

  • Yeah I LOVE that!

  • Where did you get this? Absolutely fantastic! Judging from the shot at the beginning, from the archives?

  • Awesome, they used this as a sketch on The Late Show

  • This must be the last season of Sale with the pinkish coloured set before they upgraded it in '94.

  • pastels were a big thing back then

  • It worked.

  • the audio question.

  • wait a second, did they have to pay the children's telelvision workshop for that?

  • why, what did you see?

  • Thank you to whoever posted that video. I love watching SOTC!

  • Thank you, I'll make the correction.

  • It's actually Glenn Ridge who's hosting this. Still, lovely to see yet another classic "Sale" episode
