Thomas Paine, the historical Paine, wrote The Age of Reason. A book that is one appeal for atheism and socialism after another. Who ever made this video is an illiterate fucktard with no sense of history and is, painfully, embarrassingly, unable to read or even look shit up on google. Google 'Paine and atheist' or 'Paine and socialist' in the same search, if you don't believe me. And don't make anymore stupid, fucktard videos like this one.......
People are clueless. Pointless protest, rallys, and faith in god is not going to change anything; it never has. We the people have become slaves to a fascist government, and to only way to regain our freedom from this corrupt government is to take it by force. Just like before the same story repeats because we as a people fail to learn the lesson.
Hairy Heart, read "Agarian Justice". That did not speak of land reform, it directly said that every person was entitled to a fixed amount of money (15 pounds at age 21 and 10 pounds a year after reaching 50) from a fund that derived its money from what in effect would have been an inheritence tax. If you want some interesting views on separation of church and state, read "The Age of Reason" by same.
@TheHairyHeart Land reform? Eh, maybe. But what about a living wage? What about that socialist bane that makes Glenn Beck's head explode: PUBLIC EDUCATION? Pfft. Nice try man.
Well, Im a european born in an actual socialist country, so I have a pretty good idea what socialism is; Glenn Beck is wrong. But I have a feeling you knew that already:-)
"Every proprietor, therefore, of cultivated lands, owes to the community a ground-rent...for the land which he holds; and it is from this ground-rent that [we should] create a national fund, out of which there shall be paid to every person, when arrived at the age of twenty-one years, the sum of fifteen pounds sterling, as a compensation in part, for the loss of his or her natural inheritance, by the introduction of the system of landed property." - Thomas Paine, Agrarian Justice.
And what did the tea parties accomplish, exactly? Republican base voters marching to protest Democrats will rally them, but really, what was the point? Our Founders, they knew how to hold a protest. They destroyed stuff, shot at people. The tea parties are dull by comparison.

Thomas Paine advocated what we today call welfare. Great spokesman you chose, tea baggers. Idiots.

@lsucowboy
Paine spoke of a land reform, he wanted justice not welfare.

Lol true that.I am afraid a bunch of old men in colonial costume isn't a Tea Party. A true Tea Party would involve some serious vandalism.
