Martin Mull is Awesome. This is one of my favorite of his performances. I had the pleasure of seeing him live 3 times and still enjoy all of his albums to this day. Martin was an important part of my youth!!!!
I used to go the Southeast Music Hall in Atlanta to see Martin every time he came to town. This song is one of my favs, plus give JC the football and he'll even up the score.
OMFG! No matter how many times I watch this I still laugh until I'm squirting tears out of the corners of my eyes!!! Martin Mull, I admire and adore you and your work! (Thanks for posting!)
To think that, in different eps, Maclean Stevenson and Garry (Gary?) Burghoff both guetsed on this show's spinoff, America 2Night, is just amazing! Mull is one indeed incredible guy (a littlle naturally lobotomized as he admitted in like a 1978 Newsweek article that he never yelled in reallife)! Mull is in great bio Charlton heston:An Incredible Life at amazon!
I saw his act at the BBC studios in England back in 72'.It was one of the many pirks of being a military brat.Thank God the show was free.He and his wife were cooking eggs and his cheesy but excellent guitar playing. He really had the English crowd confused with his humor.I blew a little hash before we went in and it weren't for that it would have been a pretty boring show.
I like Ak[phlegm]med the Dead Terrorist. That bit always cheers me up. I think Dunham is a great ventriliquist and I enjoy the social commentary in his act.
Yes, I've been to Europe.

Also, Could some company PLEASE release a box set of both Fernwood and America Tonight? I don't care what it costs.

Every time I bump into a comedic tragedy (i.e. Jeff Dunham) I can simply watch this clip and all the pain just washes away.
