many years ago when my only son passed over this song and another singer brought great comfort and peace and it still does 22 years later! remember always be thankful for what you have and be grateful as it can soon slip away or be taken from you. this is a god given talent angel inspired moment
No matter how I am feeling, whether I'm distraught or ecstatic, this song has an ability to reduce me to tears and fill me with peace all at the same time, I am 17 years old and I am not ashamed to say that I love classical music, opera and musicals, whilst I cannot sing to save my life, my dream is to play my cello in Les Miserables, it is the best musical of all time and Alfie Boe just makes it one million times more powerful.

I just watched the video of Les Mes and Alfie and Matt were my absolute favorites. My Aunt and Uncle tried their darndest to introduce me to opera when I was a teen. Oh how I wish I had given it a chance.
It's because of this and me also that my nan has bought this CD. I bought this, aged 13, and I personally think Alfie Boe is simply amazing, ever since I saw him in Les Mis. Who said the younger generation can't love opera singers like him? ♥
@EmilYxSax I have to agree. I am of the younger generation, and I think Alfie Boe's voice is absoulutely beautiful. He has inspired me to carry on with my classical singing, rather than switching to the pop world. My absoulutely FAVOURITE singer!
@mrlaserx@EmilYxSax I am the same as both of you. This man proves that opera isnt 'stupid' or 'dumb' and that musicals arent 'gay' as so many of our generation state. To quote my best friend, who to be fair is usually talking about some awful singer who is good looking, i can genuinly say Alfie Boe is an absolute babe.. Who agrees?? Les mis is the best musical ever and made even better by the Mr Boe himself..... By golly that last note is rather spine chilling... Xxxxx

He is good, buth here some of the notes are flat, I don't know, I never find him convincing enough as a singer.
