@sebadoby96 - Yes, you can plug the NS6 directly into the computer without the need for another audio interface. If you want to use Timecode external decks to control 2 of the 4 decks, then you will need an additional audio interface to set that up. The Traktor Kontrol S4 can do this without an additional audio soundcard...But the S4 cannot function as a standalone mixing console like the NS6 and the Denon DN-MC6000.
@sebadoby96 - You have to switch the buttons on the back of the unit to External mixing mode and then plug your sources into the rear RCA's. It's all in the manual as well, but it is very simple.
@OfficialUltrastyler - It depends on personal preference and what you need. If you like Serato and you need the unit to act as a stand-alone mixer, then its the NS6... If you love Traktor and need perfect sample-Bank and hot cue mapping along with timecode control directly through the unit without the need of additional Soundcard, then you go with the S4...
Can you plz make a video where your test the ns6 with traktor? u know, map it for traktor(or use the mapping numark have made) and show us how much we can do with it in traktor. think many many people are searching for such a video.
@Jegfixerdet - Sorry, I will not be completing the review video using Traktor...I'm not very good at mapping techniques and I would rather use the software that is meant for the device as it is specifically designed for the NS6. Stay tuned for the full review video which is already completed...Just waiting for the Green Light from Numark.
Great unboxing video. I have spoken to a few dealers that have posted up vids of the NS6 and they all said they had to send them back. They were only allowed to hold them for a few days... Numark is really doing a good job of building up the hype. I know they have my attention. Really interested in the NS6. Whats the platter feel like for scratching?
@gilboogie - The platters are VERY good, if not GREAT. You will see our full video review on June 1st with a complete scratch demo. Stay Tuned! The review video is already complete!
@dimitris918 - I am a Gear Reviewer...We don't buy anything. We get them directly from the manufacturers for free to review. Check all of our reviews on the link in the above video area. We have over 60 reviews to date...
is it just me or does the Ns6 look clean with those blue platters? Lol. Its just a protective film though but it would be cool if it came that way.

@albertdiaz3 - I concur! The blue platters would have been slick too.

ns6 or s1??
soo confused...
HuntedHouseMusic 1 month ago
@HuntedHouseMusic - NS6 HANDS DOWN over the S1. More inputs and outputs and 1000-times better build quality. It's a no-brainer...

@durbanpoison84 - They are going for $1000 at retail in the US... You can find it cheaper if you know how to look on the internet.

@MrFlyboygully - I work for a DJ Equipment Review company! They are not yet in any stores. Only a select few gear reviewers have these at the moment.
