@Orothan I know this comment is a year old but I say this all the time lol. POTT removal was a Fail on Blizzard's part. Check out Rift's Planar Attunement. It's basically what POTT could have been in WOW.

Don't know if you will eventually get this, but just a heads up, I was just chilling out levelling my alt in Felwood and I got tasked to go and scare some imps, and what they had me do was not exactly what i expected ! Its in the 2nd "camp" of the Felwood quests called "open their eyes"
Amen to having more levels to dungeons. I've always look back to older dungeons and wished I could run though them at lvl 85 and the mobs be challenging and drop items I could use. I think blizzard should have lvl 85 to all there dungeons.
That luck of the draw buff is kind of hilarious considering the fact that so many people now, ever since Cata making guilds 'level up'...are now just going together in groups for dungeon runs...raids...etc. Maybe this will even that up. Especially since it's annoying getting into a random dungeon with about 4 of the people in the same guild, and they all happen to be morons or assholes.
While i agree with you on Dungeons being to easy, i don't think it will make dungeons to easy. The random groups suck. The 15% damage buff may help a lot, but it wont fix the problem. People don't learn if there not able to get past the first or second boss. Whats to learn if the dungeon group isn't equipped with someone who can interupt a cast. I enter a group, and some people act like they bought their toon off ebay, i shouldn't be punished for someone being a baddy.
Complaining about the engine... The whole reason WoW is so popular is because of its "simple" engine, it's what makes WoW the game it is. If they implemented a new engine and started adding new physics and features etc it would change the entire game, let alone increase the system requirements to play it. Stop comparing it to the new, up coming "omg awesome" MMOs, because let's face it, none of them can compete with WoW as of yet.

I remember those Fiona quests! I was flying over the EP when I saw the carriage icon on my map and decided to check it out. Lo and behold, the EP questline, so I did it, and loved it!

The highest end of the player base has basically been the same percentage as it has always been since vanilla, it was just the average person didn't get to do as much as stuff because they were terrible, that was the only difference , you didn't notice bads as much because they couldn't do anything at all.
The problem I expect with multiple difficulty levels is that it's not interesting unless things actually change. Same fight with larger numbers is indeed more difficult but it's not terribly interesting. So I'd be torn between wanting them to expend the effort (time) to create extra levels of difficulty, or more content in general.

Hm... In heroics, many of the bosses have abilities to kill you anyways. At least it wasn't like ICC. 30% was crazy. Bears were the best tanks. o.o It'll also make PUGs much easier. The lack of Team Speak is very annoying.
one thing i think we are greatly in need of is updated character models. we need better hairstyles and actualy character customization besides changing their skin tone (character height says hi). we need smoother run animations for all classes and most need smoother attack animations. male humans as an example...their run animation just pisses me off. instead we just get every teir of gear covering every single square inch of our characters to hide the fact they look terrible without it
Its nice to see that the player base has really started to look forward and suggest more ambitious and technical ideas for the game rather than point out a mass of flaws. I don't think that the latter has to speak bad about the player base but rather the evolution that cataclysm has done not just in upgrading Wow but reshaping the general player base attitude into a more healthy mindset. Personally, that suggests a lot more potential for innovation in the future.
Lol 12 mil means nothing to me that number has been around for years also think how many of those users are gold farming accounts. Further more think of how many of those 12 mil are fails or bads who make the game terribad
@NineTailsDemonFox Its name is Epicus Maximus. i shit you not just google it. Blizzard put it in the Maelstrom during the cataclysm beta due to complaints that the maelstrom was "Not epic enough".
I'm fine with heroics being difficult, but I'd surely like a 3 level of difficulty system. However, that would probably cause some loot and stat scaling issues, and we don't want to end up with a Wrath ouversized stats syndrome again. It is not something that is going to happen in this expansion, but maybe on the next, I'd say most likely even. Normal mode is fine, I guess, dumb heroic a bit, and make the 3rd level HARDER than currently heroic mode.
@n0013sauce It depends how big the change would be. But I think they can import outdated projects into new engines. I remember they doing that with Unreal Tournament, so it is probably possible with WoW too.

blizz has already addressed the lack of multiple difficulty levels. "Nightmare Mode" has been around for years. I.E. Grim Batol.
Step 1: Intentionally fail the bombing run, and pull 2 packs at a time.
Step 2: Pull boss and continue to next group of trash.

Hm... In heroics, many of the bosses have abilities to kill you anyways. At least it wasn't like ICC. 30% was crazy. Bears were the best tanks. o.o It'll also make PUGs much easier. The lack of Team Speak is very annoying.

one thing i think we are greatly in need of is updated character models. we need better hairstyles and actualy character customization besides changing their skin tone (character height says hi). we need smoother run animations for all classes and most need smoother attack animations. male humans as an example...their run animation just pisses me off. instead we just get every teir of gear covering every single square inch of our characters to hide the fact they look terrible without it

Its nice to see that the player base has really started to look forward and suggest more ambitious and technical ideas for the game rather than point out a mass of flaws. I don't think that the latter has to speak bad about the player base but rather the evolution that cataclysm has done not just in upgrading Wow but reshaping the general player base attitude into a more healthy mindset. Personally, that suggests a lot more potential for innovation in the future.

Dc universe has heroics duos and you can solo run them and the instance scales which is sick. I wouldn't mind seein something similar in wow tbh

I'm fine with heroics being difficult, but I'd surely like a 3 level of difficulty system. However, that would probably cause some loot and stat scaling issues, and we don't want to end up with a Wrath ouversized stats syndrome again. It is not something that is going to happen in this expansion, but maybe on the next, I'd say most likely even. Normal mode is fine, I guess, dumb heroic a bit, and make the 3rd level HARDER than currently heroic mode.

@n0013sauce It depends how big the change would be. But I think they can import outdated projects into new engines. I remember they doing that with Unreal Tournament, so it is probably possible with WoW too.
