your nose steals the show- I'd try a different camera angle...! Nice orchestration and touch... you lose a bit of rhythm in the middle- the old wandering mind dilemma...
Great playing! I ow this exact piano too, and was wondering maybe you could help me a litte? I want to record what Im playing to the computer with as good sound quality as possible, so could you tell exactly how you do it?
I find that the analog recordings work best. The easy way: you just connect the output of the piano to the LINE IN of your computer's soundcard. I have a laptop and an external firewire M-Audio card.
If you want MIDI recordings, you'll have to get the latest Yamaha drivers AND some third party tweeks, because Vista doesn't recognize the piano as default when connected (I don't know about Win 7)
You can use software like Adobe Audition or Cakewalk.
yes, it's a great piano! but... maybe you would like the DGX-630 better, it's the newest model, it has 3 pedals (the DGX-620 has only the sustain pedal) and better polyphonie (64 notes compared to 32 notes on DGX-620). I really like this piano but, to be sure, try it yourself before you buy it, see if you like the sound and feel...
i'd like to buy the Kawai MP5 Professional Stage Piano. But i want to know if i can also install the prerecorded songs like what you did in Yamaha DGX 620? Where can i get the pre- recorded songs? Thanks for the great music. I love it!!!
the arrangement of the melody (rithm, bass, violins....) is prerecorded into a MIDI sequencer and then installed into the memory of the keyboard. only the piano is "live". this is the way I like to play all my melodies... I record the orchestra into the memory of the keyboard and then I only play "live" the piano.
regarding the arrangement of the melody, the rhythm and the rest.. do you prerecorded it into MIDI using the piano itself, or a third party software? If you did it with the piano itself, do you mind telling me how you did it?
Am I supposed to be thinking of Nosfuratu the whole time? I am sorry if I am not...

@ndpfc NosfEratu, my friend, NosfEratu! :)) well, whatever does it for you.... to much attention to unimportant things in life, man....

Sounds horrible... something doesn't sound right with the initial chord. You gotta lay off the pedal.
