  • He's in A LOT of trouble.

  • Harrier pilots don't eject for fun. They love the planes too much to ditch them on a whim... unless they're American pilots.

  • @Itsmeeman1 Ya probably cause they're getting bored of being the best pilots in the world...

  • @FalloutZombie2010 I agree. The British pilots really are the best pilots in the world. NO doubt about that at all.

  • @Itsmeeman1 In World War 1, they were incredible. Looks like we've caught on a lot. but leave it to the europeans to complain.

  • @FalloutZombie2010 Who's complaining? And who's the Europeans? Me? Best you go back to school boy and learn a thing or two. For instance; more Brits were killed by American pilots in Iraqi wars than by Iraqis. So much for American pilot competence. Nice to have lots of guns but no use if you don't know how to aim the fucking things!

Dumb-ass! LMFAO! Americans! Why do I even bother?

    What a waste of time.

Best to look into which AMERICANS destroyed the twin towers.

    Don't you think?

  • @Itsmeeman1 It's funny how you waste your time over such a small thing. Maybe your pilots shouldn't get involved in something they can't handle. Probably the arrogant attitude, (which is common amongst your kind) they were giving the U.S pilots, caused them to take the shitty fighters out. Which is still a lot of bullshit, since we fight side by side. The idiotic "twin tower" heist, conspiracy, whatever you call it, is a load of shit. Looks like the media works well in the UK. Thanks

  • @FalloutZombie2010 Hey gay boy, YOU are the one who started writing to ME. If you don't like what I say then stop writing to me. Dumb fuck! What are you, American?

  • @Itsmeeman1 Yes, I am American. Dumb fuck? You seem a little mad that the U.S is the world's greatest superpower. Where the hell do you get your facts from? Wherever you are from (you seem to be supporting Britain), keep going on in your self-centered arogant self.

  • Imagine how much shit he was in when he got back to base?

  • @ThatBmxerJoe Probably not much, if it was a mechanical failure. The Marines probably recovered flight recorders and judged the pilot accordingly.

  • Why th heck was a harrier landing in the middle of the ocean

  • harriers are the slowest pieces of shit

  • WHY WOULD THEY PUT THAT BUTTON THERE!

  • He broke his foot because he landed on top of the jet

  • there goes 1000000000000000000000000000 dollars

  • @fa8zy only 10000000

  • Mom, it's raining Airplanes. Sure son, go tell dadeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

  • kinda looks like he parachutes back into the cockpit.

  • That awkward moment when he swims to shore...

  • 0:11 That's the massive dump he took when he realizes how much money just went in the ocean.

  • You sank my battleship...

  • Harrier pilot."Ohhh kids in the beach."

    Kid splashes other kid

Harrier pilot " Oh my....." Crash

  • this is why we stopped buying planes off ebay

  • 5...4....3...2...1....

    Vacation!!! biatch

  • it would be funny if he landed back inside the cockpit!

  • You think that engine failure you had in your money last week sucked!

  • He just flushed 7 Millionaire down the drain..

  • I do

  • It was an RAF Harrier which crashed into the sea off Lowestoft beach in Suffolk UK. It was taking part in the Lowestoft air show. The pilot was not seriously injured and the aircraft was later recovered.

  • thats where my care package went!!

  • there is a boy who continue to play inspide of what happening behind him , thumbs down for him .

  • Dude I would so swim out to that

  • I hate it when that happens.

  • when harriers hover at low altitude for too long, they have a tendency to suck in their own exhaust into the intake, which means the engines aren't getting enough oxygen to keep running. Lockheed Martin and Boeing are attempting to correct this problem in their current hover-jet experimentals-so far Lockheed is winning the race. Saw it on the History Channel :)

  • I always wanted this to happen when I'm at the beach. I love planes!

  • That's how you "Beat the Heat".

  • If crashed at sea the plane can be rightfully and legally seized by anyone.

  • @gigapak28 yeah if its in international waters. and from the looks of this, hes not 7 miles off shore, so shut it.

  • @Qball914 doenst matter if its international waters or up the stream longside your house my friend he could claim salvage

  • @ilenrover 100% false. its only after 10 years of the owner not having claimed ownership. plus you also have to have attempted to salvage and help the vessel after the incident, you cant just call finders keepers. and finally the federal government has complete authority over all of this so it wouldnt matter anyway. they wouldnt let some dumb shmuck steal their multi million dollar piece of machinery.

  • @gigapak28

Yes it can.... BUT you have to hold it for a year and a day for it to become legally yours! so if the owner after 365day decided he/she wanted it back you have to hand it over! the only thing that would never become your's tho (if you managed to hold it long enough) is the personal belongings in the boat plane or watever it is that you claimed salvage on

  • @gigapak28 haha what are you 12?

  • wats rly odd is; why aren't the children interested in the plane before the pilot ejected, wouldnt they be interested in seeing a plane hovering over the water so close to them??

  • i clicked on this video because i do see this everyday lool

  • this is chuck norris plane in action, it can start without a runway, it can land without a runway, it can stay in the air, and dive like a submarine ... chuck norris got just the best ...

  • I'd swim to it. XD

  • I a not sure what happened but the harrier is the problem child of military planes and thats why they made so few of them ow and the pilot ejected after it started falling I guess he did not feel like being in the cockpit when the plane took a bath

  • @nolifegeeks Problem child going a bit far mate :-). The RN and RAF had no grater problems keeping their Harriers in service than they did with other types. The USMC lost lots of them learning how to use them the way they wanted. But that’s what happens when you push a bit of kits limits and in no way a criticism of the USMC or the Harrier.

  • why did the pilot eject? oops wrong button?!

  • @rahkshifan99 the plane started dropping...

  • wtf happend to the plane?

  • @danielm7987 Catastrophic loss of power I think. Sea Harriers my be designed to hover. But it still puts an enormous strain on the Pegasus engine. This one seems to have just given up the will to live.

  • fail! lol

  • i swear , some pilots are und predictable

  • did that dude land on the tail of the plane?! lol that'll add insult to injury :P

  • Like there's some sort of "Stop Flying"-button inside the cockpit

    "Wonder what that does?"

  • talk about a money saver 2 for 1 haha... when they're ready to go submarine style the pilot just bails and leaves the captain on board

  • see what happens when you show off !! he probably hated the plane so much!!!!

  • thats one way of scraping harriers

  • Suddently=Engine failure

  • LOL, the dude just landed back on top of the wreckage!!!!

  • stall speed

  • I hope he had his "floaties" on his arms.

  • Friendly Harrier inbound!... Our Harrier's gone!

  • harrier

  • What was the reason this happend? glad the pilot got out and the aircraft did not hurt some.

  • @RedrosessNL probably engine failure

  • @ckazazian it overheated it cant hover for more then 28 sec without overheating

  • lol funny thats what happens when you show of kids

  • mmm. i see they've invented the new harrier jump boat

  • Well...so much for the ecology as the fuel (JP5) has been jettisoned into the water.

I'll never understand man and incessant assault on the earth,as this video is a clear example.

  • @WidowsSon63 Shut up hippy

  • @eagleye116 Hey asswipe, I just lost my friggin lifestyle of fishing to BP in the Gulf of Mexico! So you shut the fuck up! You probably dump your motor oil in the storm drain! By the way ...You would not know a hippy if it were tree hugging up your ass!

  • now i see why they are scrapping HMS Queen Victoria and all of its harriers =L

and replacing them with f-35s and a new carrier

  • if a pilot eject at any mac speed he loose 1 to 2 inche every time loll

  • Looks like an expensive way to eject and get back into one's plane

  • now that's drama

  • LOL the pilot landed right back on the harrier ;)

  • CANNONBALL! :)

  • haha u se the kid in the foreground that doesent notice and keeps splashing his friend... he didnt even se it crash!

  • Oh... That's just the standard Harrier landing...

  • so that's why the UK government is removing ark royal from the navy and something like there will be no harriers for 9 years on ships. actually its because of the governments stupid plans of saving money. =[

  • haha no fuel

  • Hm...this plane can do everything!

  • Engine overheated???

  • did the plane break?

  • That pedofile was watching little children en he handeld the wrong stick

  • why is none watching the plane bevore craching

even the camera was not aimed on it??

  • that was close

  • His report to his officer was "I swear bin-laden was swimming underneath me!"

  • He wanted some ice cream! You can't blame him for that!

  • Challenge Completed: Shoot down 10 Enemy Harriers

  • I'm sure the pilot is glad the plane didn't catch on fire since he landed right back on top of it!!!!

  • What is that one retarded kid splashing around for, if it takes a harrier jet falling to the sea and its pilot ejecting to make him turn around and look then he obviously has some form of brain damage

  • @CoolSliminns you just made fun of a retarded kid. nice one, super dick

  • CANNONBALL!!!!

  • Fun fact: the pilot is only following the exact instructions on page 54b section A of the Royal Air Force Joint Combat Operations Code regarding what to do should he see anything he suspects to be an enemy.

  • Enemy Harrier inbound

  • This just a training excercise

  • LOL good reaction from the Pilot

  • don't fall asleep at the wheel

  • LOL! I love how the kids all turn around at the same time.

  • so its a harrier and submarine all in one

  • @kapitalisttas

Practice run for the next James Bond flick!

  • the pilot on this got a broken leg as he landid on the harrier :s

  • at :11 is that a small boat the seat nearly hits lol i'm sure i see the water turn brown

  • everyone wave to the pilot........oh shit.

  • ah... THATS why the harrier isn't used more often...

  • There goes 100 million of tax payer money lol

  • Harrier and Osprey-death traps in an engine failure.

  • Thats a harrier jet...

  • why he was on beach?

  • well thats one way to make homes for fish and animals lol

  • 0:08 pilot was like:

    WHOOOO! YEAAH!

  • did anyone see the co pilot fly off the parachute?? XD

  • @ARC3093 That was the Chair...

  • @ARC3093

that was the fighting harrier, its a one man aircraft. only the training harrier has 2 seats.

  • he actualy did land right back in the cockpit

    true story

  • im tired of landing there....ahh whata hell..BOOM!!!

  • (insert mw2 reference here)

  • the pilo is thinking hmm beach

    i'm taking a week off

  • I see this clip everyday.

  • @sverio12345 i was gonna say i do see this all the time.... its called youtube

  • he run out of gas

  • @nathanfishing3000 No he didn't you moron.

  • that pilot is SO busted (unlesss it was a show or a problem)

  • this will happens when u try to show off in front of the women at the beach... failllll

  • shoulda been a bubblehead to start with

  • Harriers can't hover for long at all

  • pop pop fizz fizz Oh what a relief it is!

  • It sucks he landed on his plane cause it's going to try and suck him down.

  • Enemy harriers incoming.

  • wel i see this everyday because i gave him the beer!!

  • The Early Harriers Could Only Stay Up Vertically For 30 Seconds At A Time Because They Only Had 30 Seconds Worth Of Coolant For The Directional Nozzels.

    That Could Be The Cause.

Either Way The Pilot Is A TW@!

  • @AL3O2 you have no idea what happened, so you have no right to make a statement such as 'the pilot is a twat'.

  • @sqeeeult ...I figure that it was you who crashed the plane then huh?

  • damn he's lucky. if that was on land he woulda came down right into the fireball that used to be his plane

  • I remember seeing this actual crash with my own eyes. Lowestoft airshow, i think 2002, but i could be wrong about the year.

  • ive seen better

  • THIS IS WHERE OUR TAX MONEY GO TO. THE OCEAN. :P

  • show off dang that sucks

  • when the pilot landed on the plane he broke his leg belive it or not haha bellend

  • Classic pilot error. It was the Lowestoft airshow if i recall. Good vid though.

  • Lol,must be fun to eject in one of those.

  • nice way of goin swimming i shud try

  • People, your so oblivious, you wouldn't even know what hit you if that thing came crashing down on your heads! (RIP Mr. Surfer.)

  • I thought the best part was how the camera was focused on the plane and not the pilot. lol.

  • nice landing.

  • That's Looks like engine failed .. :/

  • Woops! Anyone got a coathanger? I locked my keys inside the cockpit.

  • PolarisUSMC - This was a UK seaside airshow, the aircraft suffered sudden engine failure. Luckily due to good planning on the part of the airshow organisers the display line is well clear of the area of the beach where the crowd was.

  • yeah he was trying to hover in a harrier but he was to low to do it

  • do you not think they would have heard the jet alot quicker than they turned round, you can here these mofos 2 miles away easy

  • ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooook

  • Arnold Schwarzenegger is able to climb outside the cockpit during the flight, to repair the engine with a swiss-knife and to make a perfect landing on the beach, surrounded by hot chicks ...well, i guess i watched "true lies" too many times! cheers :-)

  • did it die??

  • Well that's coming out of his paycheck lol

  • @MrLostkause His paycheck? No no no, government money, aka tax payer's money.

  • well thats something you dont see everyday

  • Ups =/

  • is there a air crash investigation for this ?

  • how many times have i told our lass not to ride the bloody clutch???

  • I think that wasnt suppose to happen

  • wow look at the size of those...... OHH FUCK!!!!!

  • HA!!! It's like the plane said, "Hurry up man, hit the damn button, I can't hold on any longer". Then it dropped like a rock.

I'd like to know the story behind this little incident.

  • hooray for engine failure!

  • due to lack of fuel...

  • Due actually to pilot error. Sea Harriers have been known for having the thrust vector lever and the throttle lever too close together and pilots often made the mistake of pulling the wrong one. This guy grabbed the wrong one, completely killing his thrust and he was too low to let the engine speed back up again to be able to support him. He also broke his ankle on landing when he landed on his craft. Lucky he was over water or he would have landed in a fire ball.

  • @OneSkiWonder That a harrier was hovering over a beach however speaks for more than pilot error. Civilian areas are a huge no-no.

From the way it looks, he may have known he was about to go down, chose a place close to shore (crash on land, fire hazard, risk of hurting people), hovered to till stable, then eject.

  • @PolarisUSMC This was an airshow, the crash was pilot error 100%. He is well away from the crowd. Don't go on the information you gathered from the video when people who know the details on the incident say something ok? I hope you're not in the Marines, a Marine should know that if you can get an aircraft to hover until stable you can safely land your aircraft.

  • @OneSkiWonder

I think you're confusing pilots and wingers with with the other Marines.
