@MrHappyniceboy loosing skills? come on we all know that musicians become better and better in time... dont they? ^^ i think the problem is that they play it too fast for all notes to be played (Metallica love downstrokes with the pick) so thats why they twist the rhythm a bit. thats the only thing i dont like about Metallica ^^

i really didn't like Jason that much as a bassist. his biggest help was in backup vocals. he sounds awesome as a backup singer. kinda sad he never really contributed that much to Metallica as far as writing songs... in a way i'm kinda glad he's out because he really was never as much a member as the other 3. Rob seems to be as much in it as anyone. footage of him playing his own shit, making stuff up, he's gotta be writing a TON of Metallica's stuff now.
