And they very much did copy it. I never tried to deny that. But still, legally and techincally, no matter who came up with the idea, the WWE still owned it. That's all I was saying. As a fan of both companies, I can say that both WWE's & TNA's promos garnered lots of buzz, and got them both more viewers. So that's good.

Well, its pretty bad when the show that only "little kids" watch is miles better than the "adults only" show. Anyways, I think this was a good move by TNA to do their own 2.21.11 vignette. I consider it to be a nice shot by TNA to WWE after all the talk at the beginning of February of Sting vs. Taker at Mania.
We wonder if TNA could revert to showing the current episode in the UK on Saturday nights. At the moment they show the current episode on a Tuesday, about a week after it's on in the US, they then repeat that episode on Saturday. It would be interesting to know the reason why there is now a long delay. Are management at TNA too moronic to even think this is an issue? Just think, showing TNA's current episode on Saturday's will help in the ratings war against Catchphrase repeats of a decade ago.

I think that's a fair point but it's also somewhat unavoidable with a juggernaut like WWE. @SlipknotRocksSIC Yes they were two different companies, at the time. That's the key words, 'at that time'. WWE's creative team weren't original at all with that 2.21.11 promo. And they very much did copy it. I never tried to deny that. But still, legally and techincally, no matter who came up with the idea, the WWE still owned it. That's all I was saying. As a fan of both companies, I can say that both WWE's & TNA's promos garnered lots of buzz, and got them both more viewers. So that's good.

Well, its pretty bad when the show that only "little kids" watch is miles better than the "adults only" show. Anyways, I think this was a good move by TNA to do their own 2.21.11 vignette. I consider it to be a nice shot by TNA to WWE after all the talk at the beginning of February of Sting vs. Taker at Mania.

We wonder if TNA could revert to showing the current episode in the UK on Saturday nights. At the moment they show the current episode on a Tuesday, about a week after it's on in the US, they then repeat that episode on Saturday. It would be interesting to know the reason why there is now a long delay. Are management at TNA too moronic to even think this is an issue? Just think, showing TNA's current episode on Saturday's will help in the ratings war against Catchphrase repeats of a decade ago.

TNA has got the talent to to grow, but they are not getting the time. Instead of doing a logical move of putting the belt on styles or keeping it on hardy they put it on Sting. Styles and Hardy would of had a logical feud due to fortune turning, or even Anderson. Instead of good storylines and good matches they are pushing a wedding and a court case and Scott Steiner.And I am not a TNA hater, I have watched TNA since the beginning on Wednesday PPV's, I am a fan of TNA and WWE.

They capatilized on the 'Sting to WWE' buzz, but the fans took it out of proportion. The WWE showed that it was Taker in the promos, but the fans didn't believe it. I think that's a fair point but it's also somewhat unavoidable with a juggernaut like WWE. Besides, men and women who do have families that they want to see seem to get a fair shake while ones that don't are fine too (and maybe a little more likely to get pushed. It helped Cena).

Shawn Michaels and The Miz attacking Daniel Bryan lost 389,000 viewers. viewers in the overrun, ending at a 3.86. This is low for RAW's. Raw is watering down. Don't forget to tune in TNA impact. @Guest1001 I've never been a fan of Sting so I was mad that he came back actually. My guess is they hotshotted the title to Sting to make the NC tapings seem all the more important and Hardy will regain the title at the ppv & move on to the feud I WANT TO SEE Aj Styles vs Jeff Hardy at Lockdown. I expect to see TNA get a 1.4 rating tonight too. As for wwe, the ratings on the RTWM was like 3.2 til Rock came back and suddenly the rating is 3.9 so he bumped the rating not that it was Mania season

Randy Orton vs. Michael McGillicutty lost 95,000 viewers. The Divas Battle Royal lost 308,000 viewers. Shawn Michaels and The Miz attacking Daniel Bryan lost 389,000 viewers. I remember when WWE aired the 2/21/11 video, everyone was all excited and so confident that Sting was coming to WWE. then on 2/21/11, undertaker showed up and everyone that said that had a palm-to-face moment.
I'm personally glad that Sting didn't show up in WWE. I don't want to see Sting vs Undertaker at wrestlemania because Sting won't win. What I do want to see is Sting vs Ric Flair one last time.

I like TNA because it has more of an indy feel like old ECW,NWA/AWA/wCw.
