  • was part of D1-19 back in 07 looking back it sucked and was like fml, but looking back on it now it was something I'll never forget

  • my shark attack sucked but looking back it was kinda funny

  • Ive been there. Literally right there is where i did my basic at. It was a blast

  • @OmgThatIsSoFetch not this is not....jackson doesn't have batteries, they have companies.

  • @netmiztress no**

  • @roboplant you are going to be raped in your sleep by all military members world wide...

  • The DS campaign hat looked better in the BDUs...

  • those drill sergeants act like ass holes

  • @adsweaty you obviously haven't been to eith marine or army basic training.. that right there was nothing compared to what it is now.

  • @canthony1019 i have not and probably wont ever be and if they act worse than hey did in this video that fact terrifies me

  • @adsweaty it's all a mind game, if you can't handle the stress of somebody in your face yelling at you all the time then how do you think you can handle the stress of being in a firefight with bullets wizzin by your body and controling your squad? you'll find out after basic drill sergeants are some of the nicest people around, they only yell at you cause it's their job to train you right.

  • @canthony1019 yeah that is true but do they have to be like that for everything? dont the recrutes get a break every now and then?

  • @adsweaty not everything, mostly all the serious stuff & the first few days when you arrive just to set you straight like in this video.. but it's really not that bad thousands of people go through it everyday.. & the army is a 24/7 job the only breaks you get in training is lights out every night.

  • The DS in the class A's is my wonderful husband. His daughters and I are very proud of you Msgt Bryan.

  • @sissymomoftwo1 Thanks for MSGT Bryan's service, Ma'am. V/R, SPC Robert Holster USAR, Milton Fl.

  • @sissymomoftwo1 you should be very proud, being a drill sergeant is an honor

  • @sissymomoftwo1 just curious this is a field artillery basic training...I was a BCT/OSUT training 15 years ago in the 11B infantry so I know whu your husband has a blue cord but what is he doing as a drill instructor with a blue cord training artillery

  • Bla Bla Bla Bla.

...Oh the days of basic, I don't know who the hell would want to do that all over again. I know I don't.

  • "You Marines..."...somebody feels inferior...and this Army Staff Sgt is any comparison to a USMC DI? ....compare this "shark attack" to "Ears open, Eyballs click"....big diff...and level the brim of your fuckin cover SSGT! ...you look like an idiot!

  • i wish my shark attack was like this..... bucnh of POG's

  • Fort Sill!!!

  • WOW!!! I did my basic @ A1/19 back Jan of 2000 & still seen some of the DS in this video like that tank ass head Parsley did yall know Sapwell is gay

  • I like this video because it takes me back to basic trainning day hahahaha

  • i do belive i was here back in 05

  • memories...

  • WOW! I can't believe it but some of my old drill sergeants are in this video! I went to A 1/19 in June 2004 and many of those drill sergeants were still there. In this particular video, the drill sergeant in class-As giving the "welcome to the Army" speech, is the senior drill sergeant; but he wasn't when I went through. Nevertheless, I'll never forget his voice. The Drill Sergeant in the foreground at 3:23 was the Senior Drill Sergeant during my cycle.

  • Ah yes...the joys of reception. I don't think I'll ever forget the sheer amount of pants-shitting terror I felt the first time I met my actual Drill Sergeants. Hehe...love it every time I get to see a new private experience the same thing.

  • Ah, good old basic. I will always look back on it with nostalgia

  • lol the dislikes are all the marines. grad class of fort sill,ok 2003 A battery 1st plt hooraaa ....capt winfree ds sgt stagger and much more thanks for wath you have done .we are A battery mos 13r (firer finding radar operator)

  • Why does the guy reporting on squad 1 have an air cav patch on his shoulder, unlike everyone else?

  • @rottenvenetic It's on his right shoulder,its a shoulder sleeve insignia-former wartime service (combat patch).Also it's not air cav,it's First Cavalry Division.

  • @JTM8829 Oh, thanks. I have 0 personal experience with the military, which is probably the reason for my sick fascination the whole discipline and character building in boot camps, at least serious ones. Not that I live in the States, or near them, btw.

  • incoming!

  • hahahaha awwwwwww :) home

  • haha wow that brings back some memoreys lol

  • @justinmueller1 I recall mine being much much worse though! God they fucked us up bad that first day!

  • At Ft. Benning, the duffel was placed at our right foot, centered, opening facing away in front of us. The laundry bag was sat up on the duffel, opening facing up. Of course, it took forever for everyone in my platoon to get the laundry bag to stop falling over. We did a lot of pushups and flutterkicks that day. And I believe that was the day they introduced us to the monkey-fucker, the dying cockroach and the little man in the woods. Ah, memories.

  • I wonder how many comments like "Semper Fi-this" and "Marines-that" come from actual USMC marines...

  • AMERICA SUCKS!

  • @physcoticweirdo

    you suck aswell,

just look at your username... dumb fuck

  • @Jelcroo But America sucks more.

  • @physcoticweirdo

nope, you suck more by putting dumbass comments on a military video like a lil whining bitch, lol

  • ahh fort sill. I remember this bag drill

  • i cant understand a word he's saying!!!! how the hell are you suppost to understand or are they doing that shit just so you can fuck up and get yelled at lol

  • @marcusos1111 in army talk when they talk to you , first thing you do is get your head outta your ass so you can hear correctly . then you will know what the drill instructor says .

  • Is that Fort Sill? It looks almost identical to the accommodations at Fort Benning. Or at least, what I recall from my stint with the Patriots at the 2nd of the 58th. (aka the House o'Love, because every Patriot there loooooooooves America hooah)

  • yeAH RIGHT!

  • armys for pussys

  • @xxdeathkizzxx get your combat infantry badge while in iraq or afganistan , and earn a silver star and a bronze star with " v " device for valor , then say that .

  • Just another good day at reception for these young 'going to be US Soldiers.' I feel so bad for them.

  • @SrPastorNHF why ? the drill seargents will make men outta them ladies wearing pants . they will teach them how to be responsible , have respect , love their country , and love their country's flag .

nothing like that piece of trash we have in the white house now in the year 2010 . who has not got one ounce of respect for america .

  • The first Drill Sgt. is out of uniform. Whenever you're wearing the campaign hat you must wear a pistol belt, even in Class A's. I know. I was a Drill Sergeant.

  • @billygoat74447 and I can tell you that it went back and forth between wearing it and not wearing it for a lot of years. I am a Drill Sgt and we havent worn them I know since 2007.

  • this was my basic training class!!! does anyone have more videos of us??? this PVT Williams now SSG Williams from 1st Platoon the MAD DAWGS Lead the Way Hooah. Get at Me!

  • this was my basic training class

  • The stance the superiors are standing in (especially their arms) looks totally cramped...this always bugged me about FMJ also.

They migth stand like this in Real life, BUT it looks nothing comfortable, it looks like hes about to smack some person in the face...

  • benning was alot worse.

  • thats what it was like when i joined the marines

  • what does he say before "raise your hand"?

  • Now this brings back memories of basic for me, the yelling. The smoking. OH yea.. bring it on. OLD SCHOOL. And yes it's true I have met several Marine boots that are cocky just because they graduated Marine boot. And it's very common to see Marines fail out Ranger school because they are not trained up to the way Rangers do business

  • haha good times, good times. It was hell at the time, but I wish I could go back and do it again now

  • dont miss ft sill at all

  • Our Drill Sergeants told us that they had to go through classes that taught them how to yell at the new recruits. Freaking hilarious. Then we had a reserve Drill Sergeant who thought he knew everything. That was funnier. He got transferred out of the Company. by the First Sergeant.

  • cool sergent bro

  • I graduated basic summer of 1993. At Fort Leonard Wood. Looking back, it was not as tough as I remember. Basic is rather corny if you think about it. I mean, it's almost in a parallel universe on how people act. But one thing I can say, I still respect my Drill Sergeants. They always gave us 100% of their effort. To this day I have never had a boss or manager in the civlian world who was that dedicated to their people.

  • Damn now that you said that I can agree. No one at any other job has given me that much time or effort. Well said man!

  • Ft. Sill, I was there for BCT and AIT for Field Artillery, Charlie 1/40th

I know it was fort sill becuase he named off command, one being Lt Col. Baker, a woman.

  • Nope, this is Ft. Sill, I know cause I was part of the Alpha 1/19th Steel Rain Bt.

  • this ft jackson

  • Ooooh snap.

  • oh, spoke too soon

  • it seems like the air force TIs are meaner.

  • @anthonym267 I was at AIT with Air Foce in Gulf Port Mississippi. I dont know if I ever saw one of there TI's but they definetly had a easier life than we did. I think every basic training for every branch in general is difficult it its own ways.

  • I go to basic in ft. benning on feb. 17th. Any suggestions?

  • there is really nothing to prepare you besides learning basic rank and marching from your recruiter. you cant prepare for the stressful no sleep nights or the constant smokings your going to get. you can be in great shape physically but the whole point is for them to find your weaknesses so they can build you up. if you go in thinking hey i worked and prepared and no longer have weaknesses you will be in a for a rude wake up call even when you hit reception on day 1.

  • If you go in thinking your a bad ass your going to get fucked up! I do not care what branch you are in. I was in the Army. There is not one person that has ever been through basic that can say a Drill Sgt did not break them! Everyone has a breaking point and they find it! Its just a matter of if you can push past that point!

  • shut up. you dont know what you are talking about

  • LMAO I only went through it! You obviously have not! Or you were just a shit bag!

  • Your right I have no clue but I have gone through it? I think I know what I am talking about. That is a drill sgts job you idiot! BREAK YOU DOWN BUILD YOU BACK UP!

  • actually, i have gone through it, im in the army myself. and the fact that you are getting mad means that you were the blue falcon. either that or the gay ass super soldier. now tell me where they are supposed to break you down. last time i checked they are supposed to train you, the REAL ARMY isnt like basic buddy. drill sergeants jobs are to train you to be in the real army. they build you up the entire way. so before you get your panties in a bunch, calm down and change your tampon

  • ? What part of basic was like the real army you idiot? Supposed to train you? THEY DO! See you obviously have no idea what I am talking about. If you have no clue than you obviously have not been through it. Your the only one acting like a complete fool right now!

  • @MrPonderingDuck Your saying I was the blue falcon? Super Soldier? I did my job and took shit from no one. I could careless about highly shined boots and a pressed uniform. I care more about how someone does there job above all. The board is for losers that know nothing about there job. You are obviously one of these people. I am a dis abled vet ass hole. Got out as a SGT. You would not have made it under me if you were a private I would have skull dragged your ass.

  • @MrPonderingDuck You are the one that said Basic trains you for the real army. It is funny though most things in Basic besides firing my rifle I never did again. So when you want to talk like you know what your talking about than comment on something that shows you know what your talking about. Drill Sgts yes train you but they break you down and build you back up meaning for people like you that obviously can not read between the lines!

  • @MrPonderingDuck They break you down physically and try to break you down mentally to get your ass straightened out! Fuck what ever you call a super soldier and Fuck blue falcons. Ill take the troops that get down and get there hands dirty! Get lost PRIVATE!

  • @josh19852008 RIDICULOUS ALL THEY DO IS YELL AND SHOUT AND ACT LIKE PROFESSIONAL ASSHOLES. WHY I CAN JUST WHIP MY DICK OUT AND MASTURBATE ALL OVER THE PLACE AND I DARE ANY DRILL FAGGOT TO PUT IT BACK IN MY PANTS. THEY'LL HAVE TO GRAB IT AND SHOVE IT BACK IN AND THEN I'LL JUST CUM ALL OVER THEIR HAND. Cause I'm a bad ass.

  • @physcoticweirdo Well I would love to see that. Than everyone would love watching you get pummeled by a drill sgt!

  • @josh19852008 And then masturbate and join in while I stick my dick in his ear and preform some weird cannibalistic ritual. FUCK YEAH!

  • @physcoticweirdo Sounds like your just gay. No wonder you are watching these videos!

  • during week one of actual basic training in the classroom they will ask you to put yoru head down and whoever thinks they made a mistake of coming here raise your hand. hint...do not raise your hand! they dont call you out but they remember the idiots that raised the hands later on haha

  • @0587dave I was kind of weirded out on my day one. Our Drill Sgts had is write them letters on why we decided to join the army. Dont know if they ever read them but I thought it was awkward.

  • @SuperChunks1

    DO AS YOU'RE TOLD.

  • I love this video hahaha welcome to day 1 boys!

  • Comment removed

  • WOW! I was Alpha Battery 1/19 FA on January 6 2004. That must have been the cycle right before me. I hate that fucking drill pad!

  • anyone that went through boot camp have a hard time understanding what they tell u to do cuz the di's or ds were yelling in your ear?

  • wow, took me back a year to when i was in basic at benning. Even though we were all pogs we all had 11 B DS. And some of them were former Marines! It was awesome. I'll never do it again, but it was awesome...

  • You Marines always talk big shit, like your training is harder than the Army's. I had 4 Marines in my Ranger class and they all failed. I had 3 Marines in Airborne School with me and they had to recycle. Don't get me wrong, Marines train hard, but it's no different than the Army's.

  • @recon4051 Good point! I find well mostly the younger Marines just coming in very cocky and arrogant. I met a good group in Afghanistan though. They were pretty cool. I have to say one thing though when it comes to them being a leader they are alot more strict. Alot of Marines hold them selves to high standards and at times higher than Army standards.

  • @recon4051 THIS WAS MY BASIC CLASS!! I WAS ALPHA 1/19 1ST PLATOON THE MAD DAWGS WITH DS MALIK.I WAS PVT WILLIAMS 4TH SQUAD! IT WOULD BE AWSOME TO GET IN TOUCH WITH SOME YOU FROM BASIC OR AIT 2/80TH. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY OTHER VIDEOS OF US ??

  • @recon4051 fuckin Hooah!

  • @recon4051

    AMEN BROTHER!!!

  • ya i gatta agree. my DI's were all grunts so i had a fun time in boot camp. I see this and u know i got love for my brothers in arms but i gatta wonder why they are at parade rest and not POA and why are there phones near by. i say army boot camp when i was on FT Lenardwood and they had phone booths where the I.T. pits should have been.

  • Our shark attack at Ft Benning was way worse than this they had us all running around like chickens with our heads cut off it was great

  • Hahahaha at 4:35 that guy 's like "Shit i gotta move...."

  • This reminds me of when I went to Ft. Benning back in 1993. Those were the days.

  • is this the Armored company? cuz the DS in the begining has the Armor division symbol to his right shoulder....

  • The DS is an Infantryman who had served in combat with the AD. Blue Cord and CIB denotes his 11 Badass status. I think in every Basic Training, even the poggish ones, there is at least 1 Infantry Drill Sgt per platoon.

  • isn't it hard to understand with his accent?

  • OMG. That place hasnt changed! I hated the wind that ripped through the drill floor like you can see at 0:49. The one thing I loved, and i gave me chills hearing it on the video- you know when EVERYONE is yelling as loud as they can, you hear a vibration a few seconds after it gets quite. I toatlly forgot about that until i heard it just now. Listen close on right after "YES DRILL SERGEANT" at 2:50.

  • i remember getting off that truck. real a real shock to your system.

  • LOL i loved the army...all OVER those cherry fucks lol.

  • ahh memories! i miss the army

  • My husband hasn't said one word in his letters what arrival at BCT was like, but I got the gist of it.

  • As we were told in the BRitish Army they can shout at you as much as they wanted but they cant make you pregnant

  • mind games

  • Stfu jarhead, the fucking private had 3 drill sgt's on him, pretty fucking intimidating for your first day...

  • he didn't help he was pointing at it

  • id love to do this again

  • remember going through fort benning. The days that they would hit you and say they f'd everyone in your family. Got to see people try to commit suicide and d.s take a trash lid and sling it at us. The drill sergeants just laughed and smiled then fucked us up again

  • poor LOL XD

  • DRINKKKK WATTERRR

  • lol good times

  • What a crack of Shit!!!

  • around 1:30 I couldn't understand anything that drill sergeant said.

  • I talk like that so they call yell at you

  • If you're not an 11B you're all pogues. If you're not Airborne, your a dirty leg. AIRBORNE!

  • They do separate you according to MOS if you are in OSUT' 19D is trained in Knox, one of the best times of my life. HOOAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Do they seperate you in BCT like by MOS? Are there different BCT's as far as the training?

  • all pretty much the same and no they don't seperate by MOS

  • Actually, is it separated by certain MOSs. For example, being an 11B (Infantry), I attended One Station Unit Training (read BCT and AIT combined) at Ft. Benning, where there are approximately five or six OSUT units at.

However, at other posts, the MOSs are NOT separated.

  • what makes me lol is how all drill sergeants do the head bobbing thing when they giving a lecture or bollocking someone :p without fail they all do it XD

  • which phase was this?

  • Red Phase I believe

  • straight out of reception

  • KantraScepter...dont EVER EVER EVER say the army says HOORAH! the army says HOOAH dont confuse the two you dumbfuck! ~Semper Fi~

  • I think you would make a good drill sergeant lol.

  • I did this in 1973, its as fresh in my mind as if it happened yesterday.

  • As long as you live, you'll remember your SSN and Drill Sergeant's name.

  • was there at fort sill had drill sgt. max and all them as my DI Hated it but when i was done wanted to do it all over again

  • ah the good ol days. i never understood why you were never allowed to be cursed at. yes i know it sounds funny but, technically drill sergeants aren't allowed to curse at you. war is not a pretty thing. you can watch your battle buddy die or shoot an enemy in the head and watch brain matter splatter everywhere. yet, you're not allowed to be cursed at.

  • That's the basic I remember.

  • 1:32 He looks like some kind of midget cartoon character. I´m laughing so hard right now.

  • you wouldnt be laughing if he was in your face screaming at you and telling you that you arent even equal to the dirt on his shoe. b/c its not a laughing matter when you are in front of him. lol. but until then, laugh away.

  • I would laugh at him period. A screaming midget in a hat. Cute. Hihihihi.

  • aaaaand thats why you arent in the military.

  • Yes i agree. Of course you and me will get thumbs down! They are biast americans

  • yeah talking protects u from bullets you are a dumbass

  • Enjoy the life. Try not to hide too long under the bedcover with all your guns, like your fellow americans. Why the fuck are you so scared of everything?

On the other hand, you country was founded by religious nutcases and misfits.

  • What ever you say Ronald McDonald

  • Ronald McDonald? Yeah, what else are you going to refer to, you are american, you don´t know anything beside the closest way to a drive in.

  • Whatever you say Ronald McDonald.

  • that has 2 be the gayest insult i have ever heard

  • First off, your spelling and grammar need serious work. Second, how you can be in today's army with your racist attitude is beyond me. It ain't about skin color, it's about BROTHERHOOD! Oh, and it's US Army not us army! Show some damn respect!

  • your so stereotype to say one army is "shit" thats just absolutley out or order and generally retarded, plus im british and i laugh so bad when americans and british people get in fights like " we saved your ass in 2 world wars " or whatever we fought together and for eachother and the people saying that shit are little wankers sitting at home who probably have no idea. both the american and british are very greatful for eachothers efforts in modern day warfare and previous wars...

  • the american army is so shit

  • saved your british asses in 2 world wars. so SHUT THE FUCK UP FAGGOT

  • you dont guard shit. FAGGOT

  • so u sit there and we go in and do missions what u brits gotta act like u doin stuff

  • Army guards themselves and kicks more ass than the USMC HOORAH!!!

and im training to enter the Airborne/SF into the US Army also

  • Listen, I respect the Army and Marine Corps...but there isn't a chance in HELL that the Army is better than USMC. Marines are well trained and basic training is way longer. It's quality and quantity thing between the 2 branches. But dont get me wrong, Army still kicks ass...they get all the new weapons (lucky bastards lol).

  • nothing against the marines but i would pay to see a marine try to fuck with a army ranger. all the marines i know fucking hate it, show me one army person who doesnt love were they are now.

  • Well Army Rangers are special forces, so of course a Marine is going to get some hell from one of them.

  • please stay away from the army you wannabe. ITS HOOAH NOT HOORAH. you just talked shit about marines then said their word. fucking idiot you wont make it through SF training
