  • hair is by definition dead...

  • @ShadowPhoenixRukia

    Yes it is.....

  • hi :) do you (or anyone here) know if kertain/brazillian blowout treatments are damaging? ...they claim to be harm-free and im tempted:p

  • how long did it take you to get your normal hair? My perm is still there, it's been a year now :|

and what kind off leave in conditionner do you use?

  • @xxxinnocence

I'm currently using Hair Gear moisture mist for a leave-in conditioner. It took me almost 2 years for the effects of the perm to completely disappear. I know its tough to let it grow out, but just keep up the regular trims to keep it looking as healthy as possible.

  • @xxxinnocence

My perm comepletely runied my hair. No choice but to cut it all off. Your hair will be so much healthier, softer and shinier.

  • my hair was really healthy and shiney and i decided to go blonde a few weeks ago and i used a 40 vol. developer both bleachings and my hair is literally fried i tried to dye it red to make it look better and it didnt take the color i had to chop it all off and im left with like 4 inches :'(

  • @MsGanjaKitty

Awww I'm sorry to hear that honey : (

Best to try to avoid using any heat styling or coloring for as long as you can. When I damaged my hair, I pretty much wore it in a ponytail or a bun for a long time, only heat styling when necessary. You were smart to chop the dead ends!

  • @DeziredBeauty :/ its getting better ur tips were really helpful thank u!

  • Thanks very much for the video! I'm very glad to see someone advocating not washing your hair every day. If I don't condition the hair on my scalp, I get fly-aways and frizzies. Am I using too much shampoo?

  • How long did it take you to grow it back to this length? :)

  • i barely use conditioner but i use real gud expensive shampoos u kno..soo am i damagin my hair??

  • I love your videos!! <3

  • my hair is reallly light blonde, i dye it almost every month when my roots come in. and it is so friend and damaged. the front is shorter than the back bc it's fragile and breaks off. i leave in conditioner for 3 hours a day. and i use heat a lot on it bc it's so frizzy. idk what to do help!),:

  • omg i thought i was the only one that did the perm thing!!! my hair was just as long as yours and i had to cut it because it got stuck in chairs at school!!!! but now i miss it!! ever since i got my perm..... it wont grow back now!!!!! :(

  • what if i use a blowdryer to dry my hair but i use the cold air ?

  • @poseytoesy

That would be a lot better! If you must use heat in your blow dryer

than let your hair air dry as much as possible & then blow dry it when its slightly damp. That will make a big difference & still give you nice results.

  • this helped alot! can u make a video on hair styles since we have to avoid heat tools? this will help alot especially with people who have short hair n want to let it grow out like myself. thank you! :)

  • @JacKisMySon

Sure, no problem honey ; )

  • I have that same comb! Same colour and everything. Also, what can you use to oil your hair?

  • @malzg

I like to occasionally use either one of these oils: virgin olive oil, virgin coconut oil or argan oil.

Thats cool you have the same one, I love that comb ; )

  • wow this is really helpful thank but um i wanna know what things i can do to get my hair healthy again becuz i use to have real thick hair but since ive bleached it and got it thinned it has lost its thickens and is now all thin and damage =( and im trying to growing out so ive stopped straingtning it everyday and im really trying to take care of it but wanna know wat u recomend i do for it to be thick again so watever u think will help plz tell me lol thanx

  • @TheCrazychick90

Whatever you do don't heat style it at all, or color it at all for as long as you can. Deep condition your hair on a regular basis, even using olive oil or virgin coconut oil will make a big difference as far as keeping it moisturized. Get trims regularly to rid yourself of any split ends. Thats really all you can do, hope this helps ; )

  • @DeziredBeauty

thanx for the advice its really helpful hey whats a good deep conditioner? and where can i get cocunut oil?

  • @TheCrazychick90

You can get coconut oil at a health food store or even at GNC or at Vitamin Shoppe.

  • What kind of shampoo/condtioner do you use?

Also, what kind of heat protectant spray do you use?

  • @snapitzkristin

I use Enjoy hydrating shampoo & conditioner (sulfate free) & I use Tresemme heat protectant spray.

  • I used to have beautiful hair, before I dyed it three times in a year... =( I've been taking vitamins for hair and nail care, will that help? And do you know a good volumizing system?

  • people have said that heat orotectant is a scam, and i'm sortof starting to believe them. is there proof that it does in fact work? thanks for the video it was very helpful :)

  • @andheartts

I'll look into that....but I do notice a difference when I use one. I know that its good to have a product in your hair to serve as a barrier between you & the heat, so that the heat is connecting to the product more than your actual hair follicle. I don't think a heat protectant is a life saver, but I do believe it helps.

  • hi uh my name is phylicia :) an iHave did mostly all ur tips [not the leavinq conditioner] an my hair still hasnt gown that much its bee about 5 months an its only grown about 2-3 inches any other tips?

  • @1BugLUV

Hey Phylicia, sorry your hair hasn't grown as much as you like : ( You definitely should try to use a leave-in conditioner from now on, it helps your hair stop from getting dry and breaking off. It can really help improve the all over texture of your hair. It also helps to take multi-vitamins and get your Omega's. If your hair was badly damaged before, it may take awhile for it to get to where you like. Especially if you've been cuttting off the dead ends frequently like I mentioned.

  • @1BugLUV

2-3 inches is actually alot in 5 months, considering the most your hair grows is 1/2 a month.

  • Can u cut it urself

  • @jasijat

If you prefer, as long as you know what your doing. I give myself trims all the time, saves a trip to a salon, especially if your not looking to do anything new & drastic to your hair.

  • you must have very fast hair growth rate to cut off 2 inches every 2 months...*envy*...average hair growth is only 1/2 in per month and unfortunately my hair growth is as slow as that

  • how do i thicken my naturally thick hair? i bleached it months ago. nice video! ur pretty and i subscribed :)

  • @ItZzMeEwAtZzUp16

    I'd love to know this.

Hairstylists runined it by thinning it when I didn't want to have it thinned.

  • @notxworthless

Awww, a hairstylist did that too me to before, they razored it waaaay to much & made it lifeless. The only way to naturally have thicker healthy hair, especially if you already used to have it is by going easy on the heat styling, don't color your hair, eat a healthy balanced diet, drink LOTS of water to release toxins & take vitamins & supplements that promote hair growth, like the fish oil capsules. Hair coloring is VERY damaging to the roots & can prevent healthy growth.

  • @DeziredBeauty

    ohhh, okay. Thankyou so much!

  • thank you sooo much(: i've been looking help with my hair . im gunna get it cut and use all these tips to eventually grow it outt (: thanks for the video

  • I am growing my hair out too. Just got another trim today, I know how counterproductive it feels when it is really necessary. How long has it taken to fully grow out the "curl-wave-damage"? :)

  • Your hair looks great! If that's what your hair looks like when the rain hits it your lucky!

  • @TheEverlastingBeauty

Thanks, it just sucked b/c I took the time to curl my long hair. Then it all went to hell as soon as I got outside & then by the time I walked to my car....I was finished! Umbrella & all!

  • I cracked up when you mentioned the spiral perm, I so did the same thing! It used to be the "it" thing in the 90's & I was determined to be cool LOL. Cute vid, thanks for the tips sweetie.

  • Thank so much for the video :)

You are so beautiful and your hair is too.

I have a question. What hair care products do you use?

    :)

  • @TheMissBeauty1

I really like Enjoy Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioners, they're Sulfate-Free, and very nourishing for the hair. I also use I.C.O.N. leave in conditioner, & either Paul Mitchell heat sealer or TreSemme heat tamer when I heat style. Hope this helps!

  • Yes :) Thank you
