lol the " heel up" technique is not really a style, it was made to run across the stage without hooking a cable with you XD ( sry for my shitty english)
They make it seem like he was addicted to drugs and was some crazy, wild, insane rock star living on the edge. But in reality he really didn't live that life style.
There's no denying he lived a hedonistic lifestyle, but that changes none of my love for Freddie. And what's with the Peter Freestone bashing? Peter was one of the true friends with Freddie till the end.
you said it just right "till the end"... and after that peter didnt let any opportunity pass to tell every bit of detail of freddies life to any reportor who would hear it ( "he had a huge cock" to name one) knowing freddie was a very private person
@feiscool he did have an extreme cocaine habit though but yeah there always going to make it sound so much worse than it actually was they did it with jim morrison
@feiscool Exactly! I agree. There is a HUGE difference between indulging in drugs from time to time and NEEDING said drugs to "function." I do not believe for one second that Freddie was ever addicted to any drugs or had any sort of "problem." The quality of Freddie's work is proof positive of that. For some people, (myself included), drugs can be consumed every once and a while to have fun or relax. It really isn't a big deal.
Freddie Mercury was renowned for his wild parties where drugs were passed around like cheese and crackers. He wasn't hooked on them but he did enjoy them every now and again.
It's no seceret that Freddie dabbled in coke & partying but he never did it with intention of hurting anyone. He was about living life to the fullest.
Common guys - in loves documentary is that he spent a lot of money on coke for all - for that type of huge patries that he arranged I guess it was ok. :)
Im sorry, but the Peter Freestone was Freddie's PA, moreover probably one of Freddie's closest ever friends. He would never say anything that would harm freddies character.
Queen's parties are legendary; drugs, drink and sex were always on the menu. Having a 'good' time was always on the agenda. If you think that Freddie didnt take a single drug then you are naive. Though it does seem that Freddie was able to enjoy taking drugs without depending on them or being hooked.
