We had some of that stuff left over from the house going up years back. It's as durable, possibly more, than that blue crap they sell. I don't notice that the thicker mil lasts any longer than that stuff did.

Nice TP idea. Great cheap lazy materials tip, I love those the best!
I tie the tops of the TP poles on the ground then when you spread them out it all gets tight & solid.
