I love both the original and this version. It's a cover. They aren't going to sing it exactly the way the original was sung. The point of a cover is to put your own spin on it and maybe it's not everyone's cup of tea, but they had fun and it's a really great song on it's own. No need to hate on other people's creative freedom.
