  • This film transfer was done over 10 years ago. It is Swiss Kodak Super 8 Kodachome II ASA 25. I will be uploading later A-B side correction of several poor films. This work take time. Super 8 is the hardest to transfer because of their small sprocket size. At best just to capture a 3 minuet 50' roll is around 18 minuets.

  • Cool stuff, brings back a lot of memories. We had an old Brownie 8 mm when I was kid, before the super 8 came out. My brother and I had fun with it.

  • @orionlightship I have one of those Browine 8 new in the box, simple camera good results

  • SO Richard, what do you charge? I have a bunch of home movie films (probably 30 or so) from my Grandfather that I would like to get converted. email to Richard [radioruler@gmail.com]

  • @1horn444 It starts with the film soaked in a special fluid to eliminate 90 - 100% of spots and scratches (WetGate), a cold LED lamp so your film doesn't get damaged if the film jams. There is no projector lens, a HD camera is mounted at the projector so it gets what called a virtual image, no screen dots. Captured at a high speed MJPEG codec so no dropped frames. Then after editing, the bad stuff is taken out, then processed to bring the color back and sharping the image.

  • @1horn444 I will send the info tomorrow.
