@DoUdO1000 I think the reason they aired the original cut in other countries and not in the US was because that episode was aired not too long after 9/11 but in most other countries the seasons are delayed, they don't air the same time as they do in the US. For example, in Sweden we're always a season 'behind' so it had been a year since 9/11 happened when this episode aired here.
@DontBotherTETRiS good point! and a year later while it still could have been a touchy plot line it probably wouldn't be as bad as if they aired it two weeks later. now i think that people could find the original humor in it again, while still being a little cautious about the subject matter. For instance while I found the plot line hillarious it still seemed like a bad plot line 2 have considering the original timing

I own the box set of all ten seasons and I'm pretty sure this isn't a bonus anywhere. As Friends is my favorite show, this is like a Godsend to see a "new storyline" nearly 8 years after the show ended. Its like a mini new episode that I never saw!
