I am going to rebuild the carbs on my '81 xv920. I have a Clymer manual and it does not even mention syncing the carbs - let alone show which lines to connect to. This video will help me a lot! Thanks for taking the time to put this together!
Good one funk! I used 10w fork oil, no restricters, and it worked OK. The blue oil was easy to see, and it burned just fine when I turned the screw too far and sucked the oil into the manifold!! hahahaha!!!! (BTW, it's crabb319, I don't spend much time on VTF, it's too hard to navigate.)
it occurs to me,, I have 2 sets of restricter/connectors because the other end,, the end going into the bike,, is also restricted by the connector.. works very well.
