@V8SilverFox speed isn't everything. I went with the Challenger because it is a daily driver. It's spaceous, smooth, comfortable, powerful, and fun. Not to mention, I still have a decent trunk to put things in which really helps. It was the perfect blend of the other two and a little bit more. I don't have anything against the Camaro or Mustang, I just chose the car that suited my needs is all.

the 4.6 sounds so good cause ford uses a specific firing order to make it sound very good. the new 5.0 has a even different order which sounds awesome

Everybody knows that the Mustang has the classic V8 pony car sound. The Camaro will never had that sound no matter what. People can hear a Mustang coming without ever seeing it and know that it's a Mustang.
If you are going to use the top of the line Camaro you should use the top of the line Mustang (Cobra) and the top of the line Challenger (SRT-8). If you are going to compare apples compare apples.
Don't compare apples to gold plated apples. They make these tests to compare cars of the same price range. Interestingly enough the 3 featured in this video are all roughly the same price. A corvette or the Z/28 when it comes out would be in the same range as the SRT-8 and GT-500.
Sorry, but even as a Mustang owner the Mustang sounded weak. They should put the same exhaust they put on the Bullitt on the regular GT. It's not a huge difference but it's still noticeable.
Mustang wins hand down. Camaro sounds to pingy and the challenger has to much of a lazy tone to it. The stang has a nice rumble on the bottom end and an amazing roar in the higher rpm range.

@WTR1050 the stock mustang does sound too quiet indeed but it's to please the now quiet babyboomer crowd. Under that muffled sound reside a very nice growl that can be exposed with a simple wrench and a bit of know how. So it's there I know I found it :)

@pkidro the mustang does not have crackel and boom in the exhaust like a pony car should. it can outrun the ricers. and thats it. Just wait till next year, if been chatin with dodge's president. he told me next year's hemi is a 6.4l with almost 500 hp. and well over 500 lb-ft of torqe. suck my cock!!

@tsblair95 actually the mustang still sounds the best and plus, 6.1 and 6.2 against a 4.6 and still beat the stang by a hair. the 5.0 smokes both cars which are 1.1 to 1.2 litter less. The 6.4 with 500HP will still have a hard time keeping up due to the heavy weight of the car itself and seriousley 6.4? does dodge look at gas prices or even practicality.....do they think before they do that, wasn't the srt8 heavy enough....really heavier engine? i guess we'll see next year. remember 26MPG

@pkidro oh no, the engine is an aluminum block. and the chassis will be lighter. and like the 5.7 hemi, next years engine will have the two front cyliders shut off when the car is not on full throttle. so thats better milage there boy. now im not picin a fight or anything, but what do you say to that?

Everybody knows that the Mustang has the classic V8 pony car sound. The Camaro will never had that sound no matter what. People can hear a Mustang coming without ever seeing it and know that it's a Mustang.

If you are going to use the top of the line Camaro you should use the top of the line Mustang (Cobra) and the top of the line Challenger (SRT-8). If you are going to compare apples compare apples.

Don't compare apples to gold plated apples. They make these tests to compare cars of the same price range. Interestingly enough the 3 featured in this video are all roughly the same price. A corvette or the Z/28 when it comes out would be in the same range as the SRT-8 and GT-500.

Sorry, but even as a Mustang owner the Mustang sounded weak. They should put the same exhaust they put on the Bullitt on the regular GT. It's not a huge difference but it's still noticeable.

Mustang wins hand down. Camaro sounds to pingy and the challenger has to much of a lazy tone to it. The stang has a nice rumble on the bottom end and an amazing roar in the higher rpm range.
