Mate, thanks for the videos, I've been following you for a few months now and love your melodic blues phrases! Keep the videos coming! One question, I'm looking to get my first Resonator (I'm traditionally more or an electric Strat/Tele blues man). Any suggestions on brand or resonator type? From my initial research yours above looks like a Spider? Any advice would be much appreciated! Again, keep the blues flowing!

No one played what I liked..nothing super complicated...just some blues run with a slide on the right guitar. Kirk, this is the best slide playing I've heard for years, so clean and precise. I'm 56, started playing for 44 years ago aged 12 so I've heard a 'lot' of blues and yours is probably technically the best, it's flawless. I can't say enough about it to give it justice man it's so good. I'm currently looking for resonator and would like to ask you what makes you would recommend. My budget might stretch to £2500 Sterling. I was thinking of a bell brass bodied guitar, what do you think?

I've been around for a while, and have heard too many 1920'-30's songs done to death... but, THIS, this is original and astounding! What tone! Man, you are spot-on. I'm buying a Gold Tone Deluxe down at Blues Angel Music in about 2 months.... The resonator is the only kind of a guitar I DON'T have. My studio will be complete - O.k., so there's ALWAYS something to be had! hehe... like a mondolin! Man, have I got a case of G.A.S! New mic, too. Effects processor. Dang it all to heck! :)

@Bluezship He is indeed a very talented man, but he doesn't have a 'natural talent'. Nobody is born with a talent. Nobody. He has put a lot of effort and time in his guitar playing when he was younger, and most likely still does. If you would've put in the exact same amount of effort and time in it, and liked it as much as this man did, you too would've been able to play like this.
