@masercot ya ima social darwinist. when people are given the choice sink or swim 99% will swim. begrugingly at first but they WILL do it. but when they are given the choice float on a social safety net indefinitely or swim to prosperity. 33% will always choose to sit and languish on welfare or ssi or yes even two years of unemployment. and funny how when there unemployment runs out they find a job in less than two weeks.

@masercot speaking of school days. when i was in the sixth grade they tried to tell us that "second hand smoke is 10x more dangerous than smoking" and that in the far off year of 1996 each of us would know at least 20 people who have died of AIDS so we had to use condoms EVERYTIME even after marriage or else we WOULD DIE. also this ol classic...if you have a gun in your house you are 43x more likely to be killed BY it than use it against a criminal.
