Black talon had a nitrous solenoid fail, white talon blew a radiator hose. Didn't go to well, but the two cars that were in the finals of Cash Days were the two cars that beat the talons. We will try again at another CD event. :)
DSM for life, ive got in to v8s for now, but i had a 91 tsi and still have a 97 tsi. glad to see this first gens well kept, dsm is still in my blood. 4G63 !
they get them so fast with all the nitrous it takes to get it out of the whole. then the turbo takes over.. and i have never seen any of those guys race 1/4 mile. they only do 1/8
The first race of the video was 1/4 mile. the red car won the DSM Shootout in 2008 which is a 1/4 mile race. And as far as nitrous, the cars are all on a very small shot just to spool the turbo, then they shut off.
Yeah put an 8.70 muscle car on the street and see that shit just spin much props on those DSM they are almost as quick as some of the big dawgs like Buschur and AMS
canespride, did you miss the part where the red car went 8.77?? for the way these cars are making it happen on the street AND the track, i give them HUGE props, its going to take a lot to take these cars down....domestics of that caliber are much harder to control on the street, but these guys are making it look easy!
not that those arent impressive, and thats coming from a muscle car guy, but theres people around here that drive low 9 second cars around. that said, im still impressed by these tuners.
