he votes against stimulus but votes for raising the debt ceiling? what happened to trillions here trillions there? im from peoria and did not want the debt ceiling raised. they already want to raise it again. 3.4 trillion+1.2 trillion=too much debt and thats not counting the endless spending obama does. im from peoria IL and we all know around here IL politicians are corrupt.

Are you kidding? He's saying that his constituents didn't want him to do it! The CEO of Caterpillar is one of Obama's economic advisers. Obama made the claim that Caterpillar could rehire some of their employees if the stimulus went through, and the CEO came back and said that wasn't true. The stimulus is a pile of crap and isn't intended to create jobs.

The Stimulus is the nail in the coffin to our Constitutional Republic. Yes that is right we do not live in a Democratic Nation. It was meant to be a Republic.
