Are you serious!? Traxxas may not be in the full pledge racing scene, but Traxxas is great quality for getting started in RC. I started with a Rustler 2.5 and it was a great car. Anything to get new comers to the hobby and with the lineup that Traxxas has, thats exactly what they are doing.

@gextreme8 traxxas suck dick compared to hpi etc. just look at the plastic traxxas use... weak... plus cost them 179US to build a tmaxx. cost us 440-479. someones taking your money :D

Why don't you like the big three? Losi isn't bad. I run both the D8 and the 8ight 2.0 right now.

I don't dislike them, I just like seeing something else on top for a change. I run both Losi and Kyosho products myself.  I was actually pulling for two local guys that both qualified in the top 10 but make the main Gosch, and Wheeler.
