hey i got a newfoundlander puppy 2 days ago, i have a question, if you have anger problems and stress alot, how do you remain calm when training a puppy. i have a male fluffy newfoundlander and he is very dazed alot of the time. and if he wants something he will try multiple times, i managed today to make it so he doesnt go to eat the cat food.. hahahah.. and any tips on trianing?

Good luck! :) I had to beg for mine too! lol... and then when he finally agreed it was because he thought we wouldnt be able to afford her for a while. Then I got payment plans! *giggles* :)) So you must be much more patient than I am. :) They are great dogs though. We are going to get number 2 soon! :))

Just soft dog treats, I switch brands a lot, I only give her tiny pieces at a time. :)

Well, I don't know about websites, but if you contact your local kennel club, they can help you. If your puppy is purebred and you have the papers, the dog can compete in everything at the dog shows. But even if the puppy doesn't have papers but at least "looks" purebred, it can compete in everything except confirmation showing - including obedience, carting, agility, tracking, water rescue, etc. So I would contact your local kennel club or the breeder where you got your puppy. Great job for less than a week's training time! Are you going to try and get obedience titles for her when she's older? She'd probably do great!
