Freude schöner Gotterfunken, Tochter aus Elysium, wir betreten feuertrunken, Himmlische dein Heiligtum, deine Zauber binden wieder, was die Mode streng geteilt, alle Menschen werden Brüder, wo dein sanfter Flügel weilt.
Die Hard of course is the best in the series. They could've never made 2 and I would bee pleased. With a Vengeance is great, but feels more like a buddy cop film (like what Lethal Weapon 3 should've been.) than a Die Hard. And LFoDH was...ridiculous, yet still much better than 2 I think.
Okay, I was skeptical about this trailer from the beginning, partly due to the fact that it looks like i'm watching a full motion video on the Sega CD. But when Ode to Joy kicked in I had to change my underwear. If only the quality was better.
Epic trailer, i saw it on a preview back in 1993, i remember i weas totally impressed n´ shocked with this trailer so i went to see the movie n loved it!!!!!
A helicopter destroyed by shooting at an electric wire and making it fall over the elipse of the chopper and finally it explodes that was awesome just like the end of die hard 2 Mcclain always has something under the sleeve
No, they showed this trailer here in europe (me in switzerland) in 1995. I've watched it like a hundred times back then.
I was thinking back then how cool it would be to have another die hard movie and this one showed up on tv as a trailer... it was a day I never will forget!
I enjoyed LFODH A LOT more than I thought I would. Yet when I go back to the original it's still as great as I remember it. Hans Guber was the best DH villain hands down. Tim Olyphant was the worst. I mean how many times does he have to do that cold stare into the zooming in camera thing to let everyone know that "yes, I am the bad guy in this film and I am pissed"? It happens like 100 times. We get it Tim, you're the bad guy, ok? Rickman and Irons were much better in their respective roles.
Live Free or Die Hard was a good movie in itself, but it didn't have the same feel as the first three movies that made them so fun. Much like the new Indiana Jones movie.
That's another issue I have with LFODH - I can't even enjoy it as a stand alone action flick, ignoring its title and the main characters name. It's just so damn boring: everything from the overdone OTT action sequences to the dull and almost non existing plot.
I'm not sure I can agree on the new Indy film either. Sure, it's not up there in the same league as its predecessors, but at least it IS an Indy film.
If you ignore LFODH ( Die Hard 4.0 ) then the old series is still one of the greatest action trilogies ever. The new one being the turd that it is bears no relevance to the better films before it. Die Hard is a trilogy, fuck LFODH.
Yeah, I guess you're right. Die Hard still stands as a trilogy. LFODH is nothing else but a pathetic attemt to cash in from a succesfull franchise. They should have called it DHINO - Die Hard in name only.
I love this film as I love the first and second one. Too bad that stinky piece of shit movie LFODH came a long ruined it. You can no longer call this one of the greatest action trilogies ever made.

Superb Trailer. Anyone know where to get a better quality copy of it, please?

The last true Die Hard Movie. Live Free or Die Hard was concentrated excrement, and Bruce Willis an asshole for enabling it.

Great trailer! I think I saw it in cinema when I was 12 or something. I wonder why they didn't make this one the main trailer...

This is a rare trailer from 1997 I believe.Rated 15.
I also found out about a rare trailer of this that was rated PG and had 21 seconds cut.I'd like to see that one.

20th Century Fox Had Only Relassed Die Hard With A Vengeance Not Buena Vista Internatonal!
20thcenturyfoxfan96 2 years ago
No, Buena Vista released it in the UK. Areyouakegger's VHS of this movie is by Buena Vista/Touchstone.

I've seen this trailer on my VHS of "Halloween: The Curse Of Michael Meyers"

Yeah, this is the trailer I remember which was also airing on the TV channels back in `95. Featuring the "Ode to Joy". Awesome.

I first saw this on my Uncle's VHS copy of Crimson Tide. Better than any of the domestic trailers.
(Also, anyone wondering where they've heard that opening music from - Im pretty sure it's lifted from Leon AKA The Professional.)

Yeah I have that it's the one with the trailers for Dangerous Minds, Terminal Velocity and While You Were Sleeping.

Well I didn't offer 10p, that's the price all videos were.

This is THE trailer for this movie. It's got all the spirit of this awesome TRILOGY... and yeah, fuck LFODH

This is most likley a UK trailer, considering the "Buena Vista International" logo.

I remember seing this trailer in a cinema in Paris before the movie was released in France.

I meant Hans Gruber not Guber. Stupid typo, especially when I'm saying he's my favorite Die Hard villain.

William Sadler was also not bad in Part II ;-)
