Luis, we started by separating the pieces into roads, walls, and roofs. We built the roads, then we built the roofs. The walls took a long time. We didn't worry about assembling buildings until we had a lot of wall chunks done. When the buildings were mostly done, we started connecting them to each other. The guide that comes with the puzzle helps a lot at this stage. You can see the final assembly at 8:15. Good luck.

@darshaks Well, there were four of us building the puzzle the first time, but I made the video alone, so I'll say the video. The most frustrating part was actually the piece count, because after about 500, my computer started choking. Near the end, it was taking about 45 seconds a frame.

@KevinCarey It was a bonus puzzle included with the city puzzle, but its pieces strangely count toward the total. It may have been sold separately originally. My kids have some Puzz 3D puzzles that are between 30 and 40 pieces.

I got this when I was younger, and I tried and failed. Thinking about getting it again. This video inspired me to try it again. Great vid!!! You should think about making a vid for the Venice Puzz 3D one. It's supposed to be pretty cool. Not as big, but somewhat still large. Check it out.

@jakerocks1234 1580 pieces, sounds like fun. Thanks for the suggestion; I'll try to find one. When we were building New York, we built as many separate buildings as we could, but we had to consult the booklet for how to connect some of the buildings to each other. Patience is the key.

@statueoflibertywtc3 The soundtrack for Days 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 were assembled by me in Apple's GarageBand. I just named them by day number (Day 1 includes two distinct "songs"). The soundtrack for Day 3 and the closing credits were pre-existing tracks in either GarageBand or Apple's Soundtrack, I don't remember which. GarageBand is very easy to use, and ideal for this kind of work.
