@AceDagger1 Due to the alcohol problems, he had to wear the vest so that was understandable. He was thinner in his 1986 WWF debut which he was better at. As for titles go, Vince McMahon should have let him be Intercontinental Champion in his prime. WWF Championship it would been good also, but it had to be in Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior's waist.

This match against a young Triple H was perhaps Jake's best match during his 1996 Return..I remember this match as kid. It seems to be somewhat forgotten.The funny thing is that I remember flipping the channels during the commercials to see what was up on WCW Monday Nitro..and when I flipped back to USA, I saw Jake standing over HHH with the snake in hand..I've been waiting 15 years since I saw the actual way that Jake won the match and got the pin..Thanks for sharing.

I think this was supposed to be Hunter's year to win King Of The Ring but because he took part in the infamous Kilq farewell with Michaels Kevin "Diesel" Nash and Scott "Razor Ramon" Hall he was punished and his KOTR win was put off until 1997
