Fact: the artistic elements and force that this band possessed during its earlier years, during the self-titled and even during ABL, which I loved, eras is gone. The incessant chanting/singing/stomping from fans on the new record is annoying and ruined many, many songs. It was a cool concept, sure, but the band filled in the omnipresent gaps in the new album's work with way too much of it laying bare what many a fan knows: they've seen better days.
