  • What If Jesus is really real what if God really is real. What if devil is real. Then when it all comes to be I would have better know that I chose a life for Jesus way better in heaven. Then in Hell forever burning burning burning.

  • Endtime Song this one is it. 2012 Be Ready Not Left Behind. Serve HIM well Serve Him well... Know Him well..

  • Jesus killed my mother and raped my father

  • THIS FUCKING SUCKS

  • The rapture is a lie of satan. The BIBLE says EVERY eye will see him. Don't listen to popular opinion...remember the majority thought the earth was flat! Study what the BIBLE says about Christs coming!

  • I know it may seem strange, but there will be no 2nd coming of Jesus (or a 1st). There will be no “Armageddon”. Humans will live on this planet until we become extinct or otherwise leave on our own accord. This is a verifiable fact about everything alive today and we now know that 99% of all life that has ever existed has already gone extinct.

Have you taken a look at Afghanistan lately? Barbaric, superstitious, choking on ancient myths. THESE ARE THE SAME TYPE OF PEOPLE THAT WROTE THE BIBLE.

  • according to jewish prophecy it will be a while before he comes, the palace of king david must be rebuilt in the temple mount in Jerusalem before god can come at this time an islamic mosque stands there so don't get your hopes high, jesus is not coming in your lifetime.

  • All believers in Christ Jesus will be raptured.....taken off this planet and taken into the presence of Almighty God! The temple won't be built until after the rapture of the church. The 7 years of Tribulation start the moment we are gone. In the middle of the Tribulation the antichrist desecrates the temple, then the Great Tribulation starts.God can cause an earthquake to level the temple mount anytime He is ready. Israel is ready to build the temple. Jesus is the only way to paradise!!

  • WE have been in the Last Days for OVER 2,000 years! Don't YOU know your Bible...? Daniel 9:24 & Luke 21:24 & Romans 11:25...!

(2Pet 3:16) as also in all his letters, = speaking in them of these things; = in which are some things hard to be understood, = which the unlearned and unstable = pervert, = as also they do the rest of the Scriptures, = to their own destruction.

  • I Love this song. TODAY was wonderful! I cried all through church for all unbelievers and believers who are giving into there flesh and Not showing the World The the Love 48 so badly needs but can't find:< The day is coming . . . Please Please turn back to your first LOVE He wants to help you!

  • I think this verssion of the song is just perfect! I love the way everthing was done!:)

The imporant thing is if it touches many hearts, wich I think it did.

  • He is coming look at the signs pray up It says in his word He will come like a thief in the night.

  • @dschall0926 its the timing that will be the thief, not that the lord will come like a thief. No man knows the time that the lord will come. Only Jesus and the father know when he will come.

  • i hope he doesnt come in the morning i like to sleep in LOL.

  • Jesus is the 666 - Look closely & you will see him

  • @ulived1969 i rebuke you in the powerful name of Jesus!!!

  • @dabestily19

    Rebuke? lmfao!

Who or what the fuck do you think you are, what makes you believe you have the power or authority to do such a thing? lol

You are delusional. Quit sucking Jesus's cock and get to the real world and reality. ;)

  • @iamrachiegot.You are of your father the devil. I am sorry. Turn and God will take the scales off your eyes and you will see what other TRUE Christians see. Don't allow your pride to keep you from apolgizing for what you said here and beleive in your heart. When it gets bad...remember that i told you this in love,.go to a quite place and say to HIM you are sorry, you didn't know. God already knows this is in your heart....He Loves you and wants to remove it from you,Love will be left, JESUS IS!

  • @ulived1969 My friend - I tell you that Jesus isn't the 666! He is the son of God and he died on a cross to pay for your sins because he loves you! He is coming soon. Seek him while he may be found!!!!!!

  • Wonderful!! I enjoyed !!

  • I went to harvest church with her and her lyrics and the love the lord is real...

  • great video live for Jesus Christ time is running out don't be left behind

  • @securencristo68 HE IS COMING SOONER THEN PPL THINK , PRAY NO ONE IS LEFT! CAUSE WHEN HE COMES, THERE WILL BE NO HOPE , NO LOVE , NO GOOD IN THIS WORLD.

  • I've only seen both in glances, but from what I've seen, no Darlene Zschech and Crystal Lewis do not look alike. Just my opinion, though.

  • I am not going to be very popular for disliking this song. It is not the lyrics...I like them. It is true, Jesus is coming soon and the Church needs to get ready and be ready. It is not Crystal Lewis...I'm sure she is a neat lady and a Christian who loves the Lord. It is the delivery I do not like. It is annoyingly repetitious. Filling it in with "La, la, la" guitar riffs and drums, etc. only stretches it out further.

  • @jerlteets you're right...and Jesus might even hesitate if THAT'S what he has to listen to rotfl

  • @jerlteets no one is perfect.

  • Is it just me or does Crystal Lewis look like Darlene Zchech?

  • praise Jesus!!!i bring back to our Heavenly Father all the glory and praises!!

  • @samlondon777 who cares what the bible says, what are we doing now, there is no love in this world, because all the love is given to god. i say keep the love here..your god will be ok, i think he got plenty of love already.

  • @samlondon777 ill be alright , because you are praying for me right, you are praying for me, so you do the work ill just chill and have fun.

  • @samlondon777 a date set, but we dont know when hes coming, true power is not afraid of anything , it will tell you to get ready cause here it comes. all lies. your living in a dream world fantasy.

  • @Chullotron I "died" and came back.... i saw everything I EVER did in my life- every joy and pain I ever caused! I felt OTHERS' pain--instead of them feeling it again- I felt like they did! I could see what a sinner I was....The "spirit" defending me...said she's mine... and had me "stand up" I felt like I didn't want to see it or feel it... I was EXTREMELY ashamed and exposed-

  • @Chullotron CONTINUED>>>>Then I went thru extreme peace and joy!--tunnel-etc...(I chose to come back because I have a daughter) The spirit gave me 5 things that would happen that would prove what I experienced was real- they have all happened!

  • @Rainy64 its your mind, dreams are a continuation of what was not finished during your waking hours, and naturally we are problem solvers so your mind connected the dots for you later, thats all it is. but you can say its a dream, thats fine, you are what you believe.

  • @samlondon777 is there a person speaking now, do you have any ideas of your own, the bible says. the bible this... wake up to the world, you are missing so much.

  • Juses is coming to save us from this hell of a world, yeah right, keep on waiting for him.how long has it been 2000 years, maybe in another 3000 years you will know his not coming.

  • Jesus return, the earth and the universes will tremble, the mountains will be cut in half, the sun and the moon will darkened, for His glory lights heavens and the people of the world shall see His glory coming on clouds as lightning walloping from east to west and from north to south. Look up toward heaven for your redemption is at hand. Shout and call up on His name, Oh, merciful Loving Lord, rapture us to your kingdom, Oh, our Lord.

  • Jesus is coming.....for the MUSLIMS!!

  • amen he is dude. he's going to reveal himself ito the musilims like you wouldnt believe right before he comes. they are gonna have visions like crazy and wont be able to deny Him.

  • hi playk12 i was saved 35 yrs ago, now i've not always stayed close to him. but, now more than ever we have to. the rapture when it happens will happen so quick, then we will go with him then we as christians will be rewarded for how we lived as a christian. some will have many rewards and some they will have possibly none. but we will not be judged on sin, jesus paid that, we as believers accepts his precious gift. from what i have come to understand then we will go to the marriage supper.

  • Someone tell me what exactly will happen when he comes. I'm a believer but I keep wondering someone help.

  • Jesus will come in "the blink of an eye" and take all of the Christians to Heaven.

    People get ready! =]

  • What if you go to Christian bible studies and aervices but was born a catholic.

  • What you were and what you are now is what being in Christ is all about. If you have been born again, it does not matter of you were once a catholic, muslim, orthodox, jehovah witness or athiest. Once you are in Christ and are committed to following Him and living in His will, you my friend are SAVED. That is the great news of the gospel!!!

  • @myGodsgirl15 - "For the Lord shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:" 1 Thessalonians 4:16

"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen." Revelation 1:7

Praise God!!! Jesus is soon to return in what the Bible describes as an audible, visible, glorious event! GBU all :)

  • @playkay12

when He comes, then those that have remained faiful and true will be rewarded. It is the believers that will be judging the angels even.

Those that have been faithful in little things will be given much more than before.. To be with Him, though my heart aches for that time.

  • Jesus is coming very soon

he is coming like a thief at night and we don't know the day or hour

Jesus is coming sooner then we think god bless you all!!!!!!

he surly will come with his clouds of glory

  • Don't hate us because we worship a God of love. Everyone should be like Jesus, he did nothing but love and teach love. This world would have peace if we all followed him! LOVE YOU JESUS, LORD AND SAVIOR OF MY LIFE!

  • Jesus is coming and we will see his face. Get ready People.

  • Give glory to GOD because no matter who you are or what you believe, your beliefs came from JESUS the LORD almighty...you can not disbelieve in him without him being him...if there was no GOD then you would have nothing to disbelieve in...so in that fact..Thank you lord for making believers and non believers because it all came from you...amen....I LOVE YOU ALL NO MATTER WHAT YOU BELIEVE BECAUSE I HAVE JESUS IN MY HEART...YOU CAN CALL ME WHATEVER YOU WANT I STILL LOVE YOU ALL..! PEACE BE WITH US

  • If you really want to know if he is real or not then you need to ask him your self, Instead of confronting others on how they believe in God, But if you choose to ask him you will have to make a commitment to your heart and to him that you will believe in him if he makes him self real to you. What's so hard about that? What do you have to loose, self esteem, reputation? That is all worthless to know if it is true or not.

Just food for thought. Good day

  • I am sorry about how this video got highjacked. Enough.

  • Pt. IV

This is fine on a personal level, because it only informs and benefits your faith.

The problem, of course, is that you have to hold views that aren't found in the Bible. Every Christian knows that if it's not found in the Bible, it's not to be regarded as from God.

Your views clash with Jesus' numerous assertions about his return, when it'll happen, and how mankind should regard it.

You can prove me incorrect, but I'd expect for you to provide scripture for such proof.

    Thanks.

  • Pt. III

The problem with his return is a real one. Jesus HAS to return for the the Christian "faith" to be "proven". And for two-thousand years that "proof" has been eagerly anticipated. What has seeped in, because so many hundreds of years have passed, is that such "proof" isn't really important.

    This is a huge disconnect.

Why? Because such a view serves the function of "making it okay" that a Messiah who promised to return HASN'T. Essentially, your "faith" is so sound, you don't need proof.

  • Pt. II

What I'm noticing is that your beliefs, provided I've listed them accurately, aren't Biblically based.

Jesus doesn't anywhere say to get ready, but that people he's with are always ready. Jesus never said such a thing.

He does say is that ALL people need to be ready and vigilant, because he's returning to the earth soon. I think you're sincere, but you've reconciled the belief that he's coming soon with the fact that he hasn't in 2,000 years, with a non-Biblically-based view.

  • Hey, my posts were put up out of order. So it might be hard to track my "Noah analogy"..So follow the "Pt. I", "Pt. II", etc.,

  • I have to say that I have loved this song from the first time I heard it. I love the music and arrangement, the way she sings it and surely the message. But I think my fav is still Seasons Change. Blessings.

  • Pt. I

Okay, l won't pester you much longer...

Do you think it's possible to "get ready" while at the same "not care when" because you "trust His judgement"? Isn't that the same thing as not being ready? I know you said "don't care" isn't quite right, but doesn't "not being too concerned with when" run contrary to "being ready"? I'm asking, but to be honest, it's clear they are contradictory.

My issue with a lot of Christianity is that no one ever takes Jesus at his word.

  • Pt. II

You're implying a God who enjoys blind devotion. What's more, you're implying Jesus who's message is actually "People be ever-vigilant for my physical return in your lifetime, and have the faith to believe it'll happen at any moment, but feel free to not actually be concerned with it because you can just trust it'll happen at any old time, even if thousands of years pass."

It's like she's singing "People get ready, Jesus is coming, at no particular time."

  • Pt. III

Why bother to be "ready now", be "waiting for His triumphant return", believe He's "coming so soon" , and that "soon you'll be going home", if in actuality you're totally fine with it happening...whenever?

Imagine if you had a boyfriend/girlfriend who you knew was arriving at the airport today, and you're eagerly waiting at the terminal. You've got flowers, a big sign saying "Welcome Home!", and a big teddy bear, but at the same time it doesn't really matter if they're not on the plane?

  • Pt. IV

Now, to get really existential, the disconnect that's happening, in my opinion, is that believers regard their role as being one where they

    A) wait at the airport, excitedly anticipating the arrival of the loved-one, looking forward, being overjoyed at how wonderful the arrival will be,

while serving the dual role, of

    B) not requiring of Jesus that the arrival ACTUALLY happen.

Too meet such a person at an airport and talk to them, one would see the absurdity. Yet this is Christianity.

  • To take you at your word...then what is this woman singing about?

You're taking an incredibly liberal view of Jesus' statements about being ready for his physical return, but I don't think you know you are.

This woman is singing about GETTING ready for when he physically returns, and you're saying "how can one NOT be ready, since He's with me".

You're making Jesus out to say, "Those who I am with will always be ready for me", which is the OPPOSITE of what Jesus says in the Gospels.

  • You are not pestering me. But I don't undrstand your meaning of "get ready" I get ready every moment of every day. If he is WITH me now, how can I not be ready? Mat 24:36 "No one knows when that day or hour will come. Even the angels in heaven and the Son don't know. Only the Father knows.

Mat 24:37 "When the Son of Man comes again, it will be exactly like the days of Noah.

    That should be sufficient.

  • Jesus says in Luke 21:8-26, after describing in great detail nation against nation, great earthquakes, famines, fearful sights, signs from heaven, persecution, signs in the sun and moon and stars, and distress of nations, with perplexity, roaring of the sea, etc...

And then in 21:27: "And then shall they see the son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory."

Then in 21:32: "Verily I say to you, this generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled."

What do you think of this?

  • Pt. I

Let's go ahead an use your Noah analogy.

Suppose there was a flood at some point in history, and everyone but Noah was wiped out. Then the only people who would actually survive would be those people that actually believed there was a flood "imminent". Those people would either build their own boats or get onto the Ark.

and let's suppose that Noah actually warned everyone about the literal flood about to happen.

Now let's suppose that for 2,000 years no flood occurred.

  • Pt. II

My question to you still stands, What of the millions of people who for 20 centuries built arks and boats and waited for the flood and it never came?

Do you really think it's remotely logical to say,

"Those people were incorrect to think it would happen in their lifetime, because it didn't, but they were correct to built those boats."

    while also saying,

"I've built a boat, too, because you have to be ready for the big flood, but it doesn't matter when the flood comes."

    This is absurdity.

  • Comment removed

  • Pt. III

    You're basically saying,

"Believers for 2,000 years should build boats & be ready for an imminent flood, but if the flood doesn't come, it doesn't mean we're WRONG about a flood coming",

    and,

"Today, people should build boats and be ready, but decide it doesn't matter if the flood actually happens or not, because NOW, a flood not happening HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH being wrong to think there will be a flood."

You've eliminated the obvious; 2000 years+no flood=a big problem. You see this?

  • You don't trust the Word...what could I possibly do with that? I can only pray, but honestly your quarrel is with the LORD, Noah listened and did as the Father instructed. That's all any of us can do.

I REITERATE: Mat 24:36 "No one knows when that day or hour will come. Even the angels in heaven and the Son don't know. Only the Father knows.

  • Okay, granted, I don't trust the Word. and I don't expect you to do anything with that.

But if you're not asking these questions, how is your faith different from a Muslims? A person of the Islamic faith completely and totally "trusts" the Koran. Yet you and I both agree a Muslim is incorrect about their faith.

But if all you are doing is trusting without questioning, how are you different from a Muslim who "trusts the word" and just KNOWS the Koran is true?

    This isn't a rhetorical question..

  • You have to realize that your criteria of faith is the same as anyone, of any faith. You believe it, & also believe your role in Christianity is to "faithfully trust".

This is precisely what ALL religions profess.

The only difference, in your case, is that you "know" "deep down", that you're right.

My only point is that this is EXACTLY what everyone of EVERY religion feels; "deep down" they "know", and they know they should "trust" and "accept".

And the wheel of religion rolls on.

  • My intention isn't to disprove Christianity. It's not my place, or my agenda. My intention is for you to perhaps look at the way you BELIEVE, and what your criteria for Truth is.

If your criteria for Truth is that you should trust the Bible, I'm only saying that's exactly what a Muslim does. Yet, what? The Muslim is wrong. The Muslim doesn't question, trusts, obeys, submits to the Koran, yet is wrong. The Christian doesn't question, trusts, obeys, submits to the Bible, yet is correct.

    That's all

  • Besides sharing what the Word says, all I can do is tell you how I came. Everyone knows that GOD is. Rom 1:20.The next move is to ask him to reveal himself. It's not an intellectual argument. Can't prove the reality of this to anyone else. If someone of another religious viewpoint is satisfied there is nothing anyone BUT GOD can do. Ours is to intercede. You are apparently not satisfied. TAKE IT UP WITH HIM. You won't find the answer on YouTube.

  • Pt. I I'm not on YouTube trying to find such an answer. I'm doing research for a book about religious belief. You believe; 1) Jesus is coming "soon", 2) It's important to be ready, 3) You're always ready because he's "with you" (So you aren't really concerned with "when", or what the implications are for 2,000 years of people incorrect to believe he was coming "soon", because you also believe; 5) Jesus was "with" them as well Therefore, 6) Every person Jesus is "with" is ready.
  • Pt. IV

Of course I find this to be evidence for no "2nd Coming", but what's more, I find it cruel to every generation that comes and goes for 20 millennia. That's a lot of disappointment. And I don't know why Christians don't consider this.

And I don't know why Christians don't consider why God doesn't consider this.

  • Pt. III

Imagine if at one particular point in the Gospels, before he was crucified, Jesus said, "I have to go somewhere, but I'll be back. Please wait for me with great expectation. Wait for me like I just stepped out briefly but will return momentarily."

Of course the disciples would do this. Yet what do we know? We know that 20 centuries have passed since Jesus "stepped out". And everyone is acting like he'll "be right back."

This would be really twisted, yet it's PRECISELY WHAT IS HAPPENING!

  • pt. II

It's like reinterpreting the resurrection as something other than literal; that when every person dies, THAT'S when Jesus resurrects...in the AFTERLIFE!

Christianity completely eliminates any need for evidence or proof whatsoever, then makes ordinary reality the glorious proof of its religious views; i.e. millions die for centuries without witnessing the second coming...therefore...how glorious it is that when we die we ACTUALLY experience it!

It takes wishful thinking to obscene lengths!

  • Uhm, the End Times started when Israel was reborn.... NOT with the Death of Jesus on the Cross. And Qidron, I am quoting from the Bible, do you know it? The Greeks and the Hebrews did NOT have a word to mean Eternity. The word and current concept of Eternity was created by the English.

  • Sorry, I guess I don't know where that scripture is, but I would like to check it out. Thanks.

  • And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. For thou lovest all the things that are, and abhorrest nothing which thou hast made: for never wouldest thou have made any thing, if thou hadst hated it. Thou sparest all: for they are thine, O Lord, thou lover of souls.

  • What is this that a scorpion writes?

"And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." John 12:47-48

  • ...and you're quoting from where? And who? Better know Jesus well if you want to quote HIM.

  • Actually, Qidron, it's not possible to quote Jesus. Jesus never wrote anything down. If Jesus penned ANYTHING, even a single scrap of paper, THEN you could quote him.

All any Christian can do is quote people who learned second hand what others "alleged" Jesus said.

Jesus never mentioned a Bible, never mentioned a book of any kind, never designated anyone to write a Bible, or even designated anyone to write anything down. And despite his prophetic abilities, never predicted one either.

    Hmmm...

  • hi warfare

yes thank you for you!!!! I wasn´t read you comments until today sorry I going to talk around the world about jesus continue until the end of my life so many thing it going up I did many last days !!!! I will seen you GOD BLESS YOU!!!

hey !! read EPHESIANS CHAP 4. it great!!

  • Help me here,

What's the value of singing Bible verses? Does it somehow mean more if there's a drum-track and and some harmony? What does this mean? If someone sang the side of a cereal box while I'm eating my corn flakes will it all seem that much more amazing that I'm getting my fiber?

This is what is so bizarre about Christians. You all regard feeling amazing & fabulous as evidence of something genuine happening. "I'm at a concert and this woman is singing the Bible!! It's all so real!!"

  • For me,God's Word affirms, comforts, and encourages. On good days and bad I love to hear the words of my Heavenly Father :)

  • I know this isn't news to you, but don't you think it's a little odd that 80 GENERATIONS for 20 CENTURIES have believed his return will happen REALLY SOON? So soon that each of these 80 generations, for their entire lives, thought it was SO IMMINENT they had to be REALLY READY?

Millions and millions of people, all over the world, eagerly devoting their energy to "readiness"?

I understand the desire to be "saved", by why GET READY!!, when for 80 generations they could've done something else? 80!

  • come on people get raedy hes comeing back for his people

  • shalom everyone ill see you all my brothers and sisters in heaven with our God Almighty GOD BLESS YOU ALL

  • artmilenio1, I will see you on that day! Remember, all of us online that love Jesus, have been born again and are living a holy life as outlined by Jesus, and are representing Christ online, both electronically and spiritually, we are apart of the Body of Christ! So pray for the strength of the Body! In these last days, we need it. Jesus is coming for us with Glory and Power! Use the armor now! Prep it each and every day to do battle against things unseen!

  • Just the news alone lets us know that Matthew 24, Signs of the End Times, will come to pass! Never in the history of mankind has the world been so corrupt. And to top it all off, satan's minions have been let loose into the world with so much power. There's so much disbelief, blatant disrespect to the King of Kings, trying to explain Jesus away, in addition to the Born Again just being something to do! Jesus made it clear that you will not see nor enter the kingdom unless you are born again

  • Pt. I

Has it ever occurred to you that EVERY generation since Jesus has thought they were living in the end-times because they thought the world was more corrupt than it had ever been?

My point is simple. 80 generations of people have all thought they were living in the end-times, and were all very excited & prepared because they knew THEY were the generation that would experience Jesus' triumphal return.

I ask you. Were ANY of those generations correct?

  • Pt. II

If you could build a time machine and go back to every single one of the 80 generations that have believed THEY were going to experience Jesus' return, were CERTAIN of it, what would you say to them?

"Sorry folks. No, you won't. NONE of you will for 2,000 years. For 2 millennia, 20 centuries, all 80 generations of you will NOT actually see Jesus' return. But in 2009, that generation WILL. Why? Because it's really just gotta happen then, that's why."

    This is ludicrous you guys!

  • Amazingly, every generation was correct! Because Jesus was there for every generation, in the form of the Holy Spirit! Also called the greatest counselor! Here's the point: Jesus IS coming soon. This can be taken literally or figuratively. Because, the end of your life is on its way like a meteor , and you'll never know when that is.

So, I'll repeat the lyrics again:

    People get ready,

    Jesus is coming,

    to take from the world,

    His own.

    And finally - Stefatropolis:

    Are you ready?

  • pt. I

Actually, theologically, you're making a few rather large mistakes.

    1) The Holy Spirit isn't a "form" of Jesus, it's something God sent down upon Jesus as he was baptized. It's one third of the Holy Trinity. So Jesus "being there" in the form of another part of the Trinity without actually returning is not the same as "coming back".

    2) 20 generations, 2000 years of Christians didn't believe in a figurative return and Jesus didn't say, "I'll return, but it might be a figurative return".

  • pt. II

    3) This woman isn't singing "Jesus is coming figuratively, people get ready figuratively".

    4) Everyone dies. For Jesus to have foretold his "coming back" as a euphemism for "your death in which you'll come to me" is ridiculous, and frankly, it suggests that Christians are having to regard it as a "figurative" return because 20 centuries have passed and it HASN'T happened.

Seriously, your conviction about Jesus' return comes from the knowledge that you don't know when you'll die? Really?

  • Sweetie, we only have one generation to live out ....finite minds can only understand so much...the reality of Christ is so real we naturally look forward to and expect an imminant return....the END TIMES started with Jesus Christ's sacrifice. We have been in the end times since then. Just be prepared ppl...Jesus IS coming.

  • You realize of course that by interpreting Christ's second coming as referring to one's physical death, is actually an admission of NOT having the faith that he's ACTUALLY returning to the earth at all. The original disciples, and the people who WROTE the N.T. regarded it as a literal, immanent return. I'll say it again; such a return has failed to occur for 20 centuries of "ready" Christians.

I get that you think he's coming. I also get that you have no actual criteria for what "coming" means.

  • You are obviously very intellectual...well OK, and much of what you are saying is over my head. I do not interpret the second coming as referring to one's physical death. I've thought about that but it doesn't jibe with "every eye shall see him coming in the clouds." Rev. 7:1

  • I can't at this point be sure if what I said about when the end times began is correct. But it is now and my point was that it lasts through more than a single generation. How long will it take? I don't know.

  • And what does "coming" mean? It means he will arrive. What more do you need to know? You need to know Jesus. Until we do know him, there is no reality in us of what the Word says. You see He IS the Word. And you won't know him till you WANT to. I hope you can understand that we don't just think he's coming, We read this truth in the Word.

  • I used to be a Born-Again Christian, a Sunday School teacher, part of a leadership team in a College Campus Christian organization.

You can doubt the authenticity of my "walk" but you can't tell me anything I didn't at one point know and personally believe myself.

My problem with the "readiness" is that for 2,000 years people have been really, really ready. Millions have lived and died devoting their whole lives "eager readiness", being AS convinced of Jesus' immanent return as you are.

  • Pt. II

Regardless of our differences, we can at least agree ALL of those millions of people who thought he was "coming soon" were WRONG.

My question isn't about your views about his coming, it's what do you think of the POINT of millions of lives over 2,000 years spent "eagerly waiting"?

If all Christians knew He won't come until the year 3,000, at least you'd all do something else with life instead of "waiting for it to happen AT ANY MOMENT". What of their lives of complete devotion?

  • I notice that you think it "cruel" so many have been, what. "duped"? I don't feel duped, I don't really care when he arrives. I DO find the term you used interesting "immanent" This has to do with "God in you". You sound more hurt by how you think YOU've been fooled. I'm sorry the timing was so important to you. Jesus said he didn't even know the exact time. This has made you angry and I'm sorry for that. I pray you can let it go and feel His presence again. God be with you.

  • Loving the Lord and having him alive within is what changes the heart and causes life to be different than it would have been, not that I'd better be ready in case he comes while I'm being ....something other than I should be.

  • I meant to use the word "imminent", as in "about to happen". You don't care when he arrives??

Do you think they didn't care when he arrived? The disciples? The millions?

Don't you think there's something theologically wrong with a Christian like yourself not caring when he arrives, given the historical importance of the Second Coming?

Can't Christians admit an actual coming is getting increasingly remote? 2000 years now, of course NOW it doesn't really matter when. (I'm not trying to be rude.)

  • But it was still interesting that you used IMMANENT. : ) Anyway, yeah "don't care" isn't quite right...I trust His judgement in this...THEY did too. He is my all in all, it's good.

  • I want to be part of rapture of the day christ coming I will be there !!!!!thank you cristal lewis

  • Glorious worship song!!! Give GOD all our devotion!!!!! F/5* Awesome and powerful song! GOD bless you always. 8^)>

  • Matthew 6:19-20 (KJV)

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

    Revelation 3:21 (KJV)

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

  • I listened to this song over and over when I was a kid. It brings back happy memories. I love it!

  • praise, this is my favourite song

  • wheather you see us as enemies or not listen if theres any truth

  • God uses our enemies to teach us, you might say how will i know if its the truth. Well prayer comes first, test the spirit test your motives is there fear? worry? anxiousness? is there peace? every truth ought to have a bible verse to prove it. You need scrutinize it, and don't forget God is soveregn nothing can keep you from the truth if you search it. Proverbs 8:17 Acts 17:11 Jeremiah 29:13 James 1:5

  • There is a verse for every truth. :)

  • Brother for your own sake i hope you have studied this with your whole life i mean sweating buckets of water, reading the bible asking friends verifing with people in and out of your church praying unceasingly about it to the Lord. Gods people thought they knew it all before Jesus was born but knowone was there when he was born my point is years from now you will have learned new things and scaped some old stuff because you realized it was wrong does it make sense?

  • 3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

  • AMEN!!!

  • god is a myth. Like santa claus except his present is either eternal slavery and obedience or eternal punishment for denial. What a horrible proposition, soooo glad i don't HAVE to believe.

  • Do you really believe obedience equals slavery?

  • Definition 2 of slave from webster online. one that is completely subservient to a dominating influence.

So how are you not a slave???? This is only part of it, not only are you a slave, but if you donate to the institution, then you're paying to be a slave.

  • I concede that you right. I have chosen to be a servant of God. But obviously I disagree with your premise that this is a horrible thing. Based on your second comment I assume that you relate submission to Christ as submission to a church or institution. I have a different view in that I rely on Christs teachings. Christ teachings and Gods requirements for His slaves are summed up as 1) Love God and 2) Love each other. I really dont see what is so horrible in that.

  • well because it's not true, and we should not be spreading lies. How can you say that god says love every one when in the old testament he clearly calls for killing. Jesus tells us to no tlove our mother, father, etc. or we can't be his disciple. Luke 14:26 You really should learn more about your beliefs.

  • Now lets keep it civil. Im not trying to convert you just wanted to provide you insight into what you many view as irrational. I assure you that I am very versed in the scriptures and understand the historical context as well as the spiritual. Jesus was, in Luke 14:26, addressing individuals in His time who were going to literally follow Him around as students. (to be continued)

  • Very judgmental of you. I made no statements regarding your soul salvation nor have I condemed you to hell. That's not my theology, that not my view of Christianity. I simply responded to your comment in order to provide you with some understanding of why I am a person of faith because I thought you were genuinely confused by it. I see now that your just bitter, over what I don't know but I will no longer serve as the object of your rage. God blest.
