Unlike vanessa, Aly can sing in more genres and her voice doesn't sound like a baby and annoying. Aly has a good voice that you can listen to, vanessa can sing but it's not listening material.

I think the reason Aly sung more is that Charlotte's one of the main roles, while Sa5m was secondary. Vanessa even said Sa5m's a supporting role, not main.

The amount of singing in this movie had more to do with the character & when they would be required to sing really. Sa5m hadn't made the impression that should could sing because she didn't want to. Charlotte was the one who started the band & thus, sung more.

aly can't even sing..i don't see what's special about her..she's blonde, she has a "pop" voice..and she says "behave" like "behive" and it's really annoying btw.

Vanessa is prettier and she has a UNIQUE voice, which IMO makes her than aly.

Aly rocks. she was amazing in this film. and just to put it out there, if ur going to debate, don't say, "vanessa is better" & then say that her voice is "better" in certain genres. that doesn't make her better, it just shows how limited her voice is. if she were really better, she'd be able to sing any genre (sort of like, oh i don't know... Aly, maybe?). i give Vanessa props for being able to hit those high notes, but if we're going to choose who's better, it's clearly Aly. sorry :-\
