That wasn't very fast to be honest. The loading bar even stopped dead for quite a bit there. And the jump from the black screen to the welcome page was also quite long as well.

there could be different reasons to it like the settings in the bios being at stock settings the RAM could be in single channel mode and also the hardware on that PC is way to ahead of XP like theres no use for a quadcore as theres no software that uses the full potential of it.

Hey guys, This is a Falcon NW box. But it is not the $14,000 one. This one cost ~$7500. This movie is the first time I booted the machine after having taken it out of the box. The pauses, from what I understand are from all of the USB devices I had hooked up to it.

Guys, this does have a problem on boot, as you can see the XP loading bar pause. It only does that when there is some problem. Since it is the first boot, XP may be getting used to some drivers.

Like I have already stated below, this is not a problem, it happens to all 680i and 8800gtx sli PC's. they all take a long time to boot and have a pause. It does not mean there is a problem with his rig, or mine or anyone else who has 8800gtx sli. Even X1900 crossfire gets the pause, it's completely normal for a rig like this and it's just because of all the memory and powerful components. Jeez, why do people always assume the worst.

Sorry guys you know nothing about this kind of PC's, as this is normal for the 680i board with 8800gtx sli. It just takes that long when you have sli. The reason is that XP itself is struggling to register it all that power and issue irqs and what not. Under DX10 and VIsta the boot up time will be improved. Vista will have no trouble recognizing and addressing the 8800gtx sli. I find it hilarious that anyone would question the power of such a PC.lol.

You must have a problem there, my old AMD 3800 (Single core) with 1GB Ram, video nVidia6200 boots faster than that, maybe your PC is trying to load something that doesn't exist like a COM, LPT port, IDE, IEEE, etc... that you don't have.
