  • what mufflers or cat back did you get?

  • @comporangefox - First clip is stock midpipe w Bassani mufflers/pipes. Last two clips all Bassani. If I went long tube headers it would REALLY be loud.

  • Ill get all bassani from x pipe to tips with mufflers.for 475 deal o what??

  • @SuperSschevy - that all stainless?

  • @HokieD1993 yeah buddy.! sounds real good

  • you payed $1,000 for a catback? holy hell dude, thats a waste if you ask me.

  • @mxerboy123 - catbak and the stainless catted x-pipe.

  • sweet car man. hey wats the name of the song played in the backround?

  • @Ryne72

    So Cold- Breaking Benjamin

  • nice comparison video, thanks for posting this. very thorough.

  • lol dude thats not a fox body... its a notchback, but its clean. i have a red 92 notchback it needs a new paint job tho.

  • @ajo510 that is a fox body, notchback is the term used for trunk cars or the "coupes" and not the hatchbacks. fox platform vehicles were from 79-2004, i should know, have had them all.

  • @primalscream46 fox went to 93 so you dont know jack

  • @kilog55 no u don't know jack, i work for ford, and the sn95 up from 94-2004 is called the Fox-4 platform. that is why all the parts of the suspension and drivetrain can be swapped into the original foxbody. look it up dumbass, fox platform IS from 79-04.

  • @primalscream46 sorry you're wrong but who gives a shit fox is 79-93 the sn95 and so on

  • clean sounds man . now im thinking of getting it . how much was the set up ?

  • @CALIRACER69 -> I think I paid $1K for the exhaust.

  • Clean fox man!! thats an intense exhaust lol LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES!

  • souinds mean as hell without the baffles, but sooooo clean with them :-D

  • So do all Bassani kits have removabale baffles? Or just the Stainless kits? I agree that it sounds better with them in,

    Thanks

  • nice video, very informative

  • Nice clip, man. I liked it best with the baffles in also. It sounds much cleaner but still has some bite. I'd probably pull the baffles out on weekends. lol

  • was that ur exhaust of choise or did u just fall in to it cause im always trying to get a nice mean sound out of my fox body and if u throw on some headers what kind would u, long tube, shortys, equal lenth, or just keep it stock

  • @anerloks I took my car in to repair a hole in my 2 chamber Flowmasters and it was beyond repair. So the guys at Custom Performance (Charlotte NC) recommended Bassani. The shop recommended long tubes if I went that route. I'm waiting until I do H/C/I before I touch the headers.

  • great video. definatly love the catted x pipe and the baffles installed. has great tone. because of your video, im now going with this set up. Thanks

  • I put the baffles back in and I can tell it robs horsepower. But, the tone is so bad ass!

  • Oops, meant to hit reply and removed a question. Yeah, there's some straw wrapped around the baffles. Not sure what it's for.

  • Sweet coupe! Nice comparison, I've got Bassani myself on my 94 GT without the baffles and x pipe and love the sound! Gets lots of looks at red lights.

  • Thanks man. Folks are telling me it sounds better with x-pipe and baffles installed.
