Let's remember that there is a big if in Julian Simon's positive views, as long as people are allowed the freedom to create, produce, decide, etc. for themselves i.e. no central planning. Well, that's not what we see happening in the last 20 or so years, is it? So let's not forget the basis of his great thinking. If governments continue on the path their are on right now, there will be the opposite of a bright future.
