yeah u can do it with any board but the fiberglass/foam boards,especially the victoria ones ;) work like a charm

you need a fiberglass. because wood is less boyant then fiberglass so wood doesnt stay afloat long enough for you to get a wave. it is possible to get a wave with a woodie though. but thats if youve got alot of experience
