  • sound is horrible -

    but your dog is cute!

  • dog rulz.

  • Sounds good, just too muddy. Turn up the treble next time :)

  • @mentalsupernova More like just turn the gain down a bit!

  • The Lung!! That's one of my all-time favorite Dinosaur Jr. songs! Good job!

  • Two questions:

    1) does your dad know that you're wearing his argyle sweaters, and

    2) does your mom get mad at you for poorly playing your guitar in her kitchen?

  • too clean of a distortion bro, sounds muddy...

  • can you make tabs??

  • argyle sweater + j mascis jazzmaster = quite possibly my new favorite person

  • Jimmi Hendrix used this pedal ?

  • I don't think so, he mainly used fuzz faces

  • Jimi Hendrix used, at different times and on different songs, the Dallas Arbiter Fuzzface, the Mosrite Fuzzrite, and several Roger Mayer Octavias. This pedal is a copy of the Boss FZ-2, which is a sloppy copy of the Univox Superfuzz, which sounds a little like the Fuzzrite but much more intense and with an octave tone. So no.

Jimi also used a Big Muff in practice sessions shortly before his death, but he never recorded with it that I know of.

  • Whats the kul octave sound at the beginning???

  • It's the Fuzz pedal with a palm-mute of the A power chrod. This pedal has not octave on it, sorry.

  • Does the Super Fuzz Generate the Octave tone as well? thanks

  • Regretfully no. But it sounds bad-ass. Thanks.

  • @kdc300z it's an asymmetrical fuzz, so there's a hint of octave in it, but it's not a proper octave fuzz.

  • @kdc300z it does a nice octave on high notes on the higher pitched strings. yes I know, I own it. same story with the scrambler, green ringer, etc lots of the old octave fuzzes are like this

  • Great job, I just purchased this pedal (SF300) today based on another video by expert village, but it was removed due to copyright so yours is the only in youtube demostrating this pedal. It does remind me of the Muse kind of sound.

  • Thanks a bunch.

  • How is the sound of the Behringer compared to the Big Muff? and which do you prefer?

  • Well, I have a Big Muff, Metal Nano-Muff and of course the Fuzz you see here. All three have distinct sounds. Just like my Strat & Jazzmaster. Uh, I don't have a nbig amp, so the Big Muff is usually out; the Metal Nano-Muff is great for some palm muting and the Fuzz is great becasue the sound is so robust. I mean, it blows the metal muff out of the room because the sound is so fat. Thank you for your question. *Israel

  • All right. Thanks dude.

  • didnt hear one musical note

  • LISTEN CLOSER OR LISTEN TO THE ORIGINAL SONG! If you can't appreciate The Lung for what it is, then DON'T LISTEN AT ALL!

  • No, just straight Super Fuzz. That is the sound--although it sounds not too great here, but at home, it sounds a lot like this! Thanks!

  • sounds very sonic youthish which is good, does it oscillate, or gdo velcro distortion, think of muse

  • That is really Awesome, wish the sound was better, but i could here som awesome J. mascis coming through. I'm the # 1 Dino fan, You did an great job on the lung! How do you like the Jazzmaster?

  • It takes a lot of getting used to. I played a Fende Strat for 12 years before I got this one. I really like it--thanks!

  • that the stuff dude
