  • Talk on...

  • and I wonder how long it took to make a whole video on a Etch-A-Sketch

  • Abandon your hopes and dreams with either party. They both sold this country out to the richest of criminals that have now come into power over our great nation. All of them are national traitors and should be dealt with.Your faith should be placed in yourselves along with the American people, not all those sold out political candidates with all the money that threw us away like the disposable products that they've made us into. The two party system is a complete failure in the end.

  • @erebus38 Awesome comment, you hit the nail right on the head.

  • @erebus38 i say we vote for a different party.. screw the democrats n the republican party...

  • Ohh by the way I'm a 35 year old white male and I think Obama is a good president who came into a fucked up presidency passed on by the piece of shit bush family!!!

  • @DCNCIDER who really gives a fuck what you think you asshole stop with tired old'' blame bush'' grow the fuck up.

  • @69Curtdog I am a grown up you retard! And I know that no matter who is president they are all puppets, so in the end the middle class people like myself get screwed over. So 69Curtdog when you Grow Up and move out of Mommy and Daddy's house and have to live on your own you will understand how Grown Up's get screwed over. So for now Keep Your Mouth Shut when the Adults are talking!!!

  • The two terms of the piece of shit Bush regime is what put America into this great recession NOT Obama. Wake the Fuck Up you Idiots!!! Ronald Reagan was president, No War. G.B. Senior was President Dessert Storm War cost Americans billions of dollars and lives. Clinton President 2 terms No War. G.B. Jr. President 10 years of war in the middle east Cost Americans Billions of dollars and Lives. Now everyone blames Obama? He didn't create this mess The Bush Fucking Family did!!!!!!!!!

  • @DCNCIDER It's more than 1 family. The mess is caused by wars in Iraq, Afghan and the war on drugs. The Federal Reserve, lack of term limits and a lack of capping a maximum allowed for campaign donations. And topped off by a 2 party system that only divides America allowing the corporations to get away with buying any politician they want. But the Bushes sure didn't help.

  • @DCNCIDER agrees totally!!!!!!

  • @DCNCIDER If you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you. . .

  • This song rocks my face off!

  • im snorting coke to this rite now..just thought id broadcast it..lmao

  • @AmagaiBluWave thats right do the Brewster's Millions vote none of the above

  • Is that ross perot at 3:30?

  • @alanhowitzer It's his voice in the song at the end, so I wouldn't doubt it.

  • Is this the official video?

  • Listen to the words....Ron Paul 2012

  • @2stage90 I wish people would listen

  • @2stage90 God, do you people never shut up? Ron Paul has a few very good ideas on the rule of law tied to a million stupid libertarian brain farts. Not good enough.

  • elitism happens......when theres no opposition

  • Live's best song.

  • Chad Gracey is a drumming genius on this track. Not so much for the notes he's playing, but for the beats he's not. Spectacular.

  • It's amazing how this song still sounds as awesome as the first time I heard it nearly two decades ago...

  • Penny arcade FTW

  • I just heard this on Lithium radio...Had to listen again. Soo great.

  • I conceived my first son to this album...great times

  • Amazing video! Thanks for posting!

  • "The gospel is not of talk but of power!" (The bible)

  • the truth of the 90's - it's right here people...

    listen up...

no era like it before, nor since... the gospel...

  • This song is musically and lyrically powerful and amazing! I don't feel music like this anymore.

  • Where is my time machine? 90's music was awesome

  • @PEEelSAVIORRR Right on! :-)

  • You can get the audio-mp3 of this tune at grabaudios doht cohm.

  • Talk on.

  • You can connvert this or any youtube clip to an mp3 at grabyouraudio..com. Right on!

  • live had other good songs too

  • This is the only Live song I like.I cant stand the other tunes.

  • @ducklandwikeno

Then you probably haven't even heard all the songs off the album this track is on; 'Throwing Copper' (1994) - There's even one song that has the exact same buildup wibe to it but the explosive part is just shorter and buildup longer, basically same stuff.

Masterpiece of an album really, all the songs are awesome.

  • This is the only Live song I like.IMO the best!

  • @Orgonobin Bush also neglected to mention that the US government KNEW what Hussein was doing to his own people back in the 80's with the supplies they were giving him but didn't care because Iraq was in a war with Iran and had made a sweet deal with the US for oil.

  • @Orgonobin Sorry I don't recall Obama declaring war on a country based half truths an outright lies. GW said he had to attack Iraq because of WOMD that didn't exist. He also went on how Hussein poisoned his own people yet skipped how the chemicals used to make the poison & the helicopters used to drop them were supplied by the USA back in the 80s.

  • I think I could run into a medieval battle with that song playing.

  • good job on your video great song and good images

  • awesome awesome awesome song!

look where all this talkin' got us baby!

  • @ghosthand2 I told someone that once. I dont think there is a speaker system load enough for this song.

  • gives u chills.....i love this album!

  • arggh thanks for the video, but i'm still trying to find the original

  • My favorite song from my favorite album: and you have a President opposed to individual freedom at the "I talk of Freedom" part??? My President doesn't believe in me. My ability to pick myself up, to work hard and help others of my own accord, to expect nothing more than the right to live free and embrace my spirituality, my responsibility for my existence. No, my government has to do it for me. Well, sir, I will not "cry about it". Come November, "this'll be what we said" indeed, sir.

  • Great song! The first time I heard it I was tripping and loved it!!

  • you idiots who are under 20 have only one person to blame for your ignorence and that is Goverment, if you honostly think socialism is a cool deal -none of use will live past 2012.lol i and mine are moveing to the country and will survive the hollowcaust, missspelled i know but you know what im saying, you -kids-have destroyed us.at no time in history has it been possible for idiots to have an even say.thanks a fuckin lot internet.!!!GOD BLESS AMERICA,GODDAMN THIS GOV.

  • THIS and 'TBD are UNBELIEVABLE songs!!!!!

  • This is one of the most powerful songs ever written. Lyrically it is a brilliant statement and it is married to the perfect music, at times frustratedly neutered, at times passionately angry, and always brutally honest.

How did you make this video? It is really well done.

  • watch also our channel, FireflyCebu

  • Song is one of my favs.. kick ass work on the vid ballz... f*cking perfect...

  • Wow Jesus must be spinning in his grave....

  • if your under 20 and havent served your country and or dont know who neviel chamberland is dont say shit about Bush becouse Bush atleast isnt an asskisser like neviel or obama.just look up chamberland and youll see were on the verge of war just like he was and we have a demtard running the show just like then.

  • @Carldane1 you idiot, Neville Chamberland was not an ass kisser. World War one had just finished 20 years earlier. A whole generation was lost, europe was nearly destroyed. This was still fresh in everyone's mind at the time. No one in their right mind wanted another war...what they didn't realise was that Hitler was not right minded. Bush is a war criminal like Hitler.

  • @boob72 ok BOOB72 or is that BOOB#1 do you honostly think british intel was so inept that thay didnt notice the 100sK troops and 10sK tanks and warplanes comeing off the factory floors in the Rhineland? i doute that the members of those orginizations would take kindly to you assessment of there skills regardless of what BS the history books would have us beleave nore do i think all the treehuggy milksop coomby yah idiots in the world will change the fact that peace is only possible through str.

  • i was thinking just that the Bush admin and the state of politics in america in general, hard to get anything done, both sides talk till sanity walks away

  • @j2bodydouble this is vary true.sanity ie "common sence" will have to make a major comeback and soon or theres gonna be a civil war.

  • Great job on this!

  • LOVE this... very nice

  • Very creative video.

  • This was the best track on the "Virtuosity" soundtrack hands down!

  • Throwing Copper was awesome.

  • @russtyballz *is awesome

  • @russtyballz still a great CD now, doesnt even sound old.....i still listen to it in my car

  • @ChrisImage78 This was the best song on throwing copper hands down! right next to shit towne and iris

  • I grew up in the 90's - i.e a teenager in the 90's. I never wanted Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama to rule the world! Look where all this talking got us baby! Talk on! Whoo! I miss Live, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, STP, sanity.

  • @ChrisImage78 Totally true!!

  • @ChrisImage78

Yeah, but this is better than the version they put on the V soundtrack.

  • Goodbye NAUTILUS

  • just enjoy the song/video :)

  • its funny how i took bands like Live for granted in the 90's.....music back then is so much better than the regurgitated garbage that's released today :D

  • amen brotha. Aint it funny. U dont respect true music until u get older lol.

  • Dude that's so true.

  • @maxeypad I agree

  • @maxeypad good notice!

  • @maxeypad omfg man, Im sooo glad Im not the only one that feels that way. I was sayin to some chick the other day how I didnt listen to certain music when I was younger all because of peer pressure and friends clownin u for what ur listening 2. I was in the car listening to Jimi Hendrix's watchtower and I told her u dont respect music until u get older. When I play this song, I ALWAYZ blast it lol.

  • @maxeypad Yes airtime is given to those who only write music about dancing, love and parties. When it comes to something even the slightest bit esoteric, spiritual, political or intelectual those artists are told to go fuck themselves.

  • Every time there's even a hint of political meaning behind something on youtube, you can find people mentally masturbating paragraph-long political ramblings in the comments section.

  • @kissthesettingsun LMFAO!

  • ha. good one. thank you-you're right

  • Nice job mr. ballz , keep up the good werk.

  • awesome video dude.

  • Western Voices World News

  • Great song and great visuals.

  • Awsome tune!! one of my favorite live songs.

  • FTW

  • Bush appointed his prep school buddy to CEO of Fannie Mac, which in turned fueled the meltdown becuase of bad mortages. The housing meltdown was created by the Bush administration, plain and simple. The only argument you could use is saying that the dems didnt protect the country which led to the 9/11 attacks, which led to the crappy economy, which forced Bush to do some economic engineering, but you are not that bright, obviously.

  • Whatever! It comes down to mortgage backed securities being hot potatoes because of liberal initiatives to get underqualified people home loans (which any home flipper took advantage of multiple times), and forcing banks to lend to them against their better interest. Simple as that, because even though trading them was opened up because of Republican deregulation, trading them was good for the economy as it is a free market exercise. Trading toxic debt is the issue, not trading itself.

  • I love this song! It's my favorite together with "lightning crashes".

Don't blame those young folks who think it has anything to do with Bush...these are probably the same folks that think that Rage Against the Machine's "Wake Up" has been written for the Matrix trilogy...

  • The whole album is good i say!

  • OK, seriously: You know why this isn't an anti-Bush song? BECAUSE IT CAME OUT IN 1994! Thank you.

  • HA way to own.

  • Silly, we know it came out YEARS before Bush was elected. There is nothing that says you can't take an old song and relate it to more current events..is there? When I first heard it back in 94, I thought "anti politics"..now I can't help but think "anti-Bush Goverment".. esp with the part that says "I warnted you..I prepared you"...just makes me think of him.. sorry if that offends you ;-)

  • Look where all this talkin' s got us baby!

  • VIVA LA REVOLUTION!

    We haven't seen nothing yet

  • Best Live Track....EVER!!!!

  • 1990s Live concert...a living room complete with wallpaper, pictures and a large couch...starting off with a piece of audio from the movie Repo Man,,,great intro

  • This song will come to mind when the first large scale riots commence here in the states.

That will be 1.5 years tops...likely to touch off in the south west I think.

  • "Look at where all this talking got us, baby."

    Quite appropriate.

  • Wow, I've wanted to make an anti Bush/Iraq war to this song for years now... It's kinda neet to know I'm not the only one who thinks Live were ahead of their time with this one. Great Job Russtyballz... would love to see it in colour as well but I do love the way the images transision in B&W

  • Thank you!

  • Yeah, except this isn't an anti-war song. Its not even an anti-Bush song. It's quite the opposite. It's talking about the powers that be, and when there is action to be taken they just sit or create more confusion by paying lip service to whatever "special interest" put them in power but never really doing anything. It speaks to the majority, watching thier freedom and liberty slowly eroded by a ruling class only interested in the maintenece of thier power, whose only option is revolution.

  • Very well said. Yes I'd say it is closer to anti-politics than anti-Bush. But I personally can't help but think of Bush, his government (and their mess) now whenever I listen to it. I find it amazing how well it applies since the song was released about 10 yrs before he was even ellected. Like I said.. ahead of their time ;)

  • What mess left by Bush? Don't say the financial meltdown, that was liberals fault, don't say Iraq because that was a mess that Bush cleaned up, then Arabs screwed it up again, and it will always be a mess but at least Hussein is dead.

  • Not a bright child are you? I am amazed how people like you can just simply ignore reality. Please don't reproduce.

  • Right back at you. Yes I am rather bright:) What reality? The one you hear on Jon Stewart? Probably run around with a Che t-shirt and think you're sophisticated.

Bush did a great job, the libs in Congress caused the sub-prime mortgae crisis, and I still haven't heard what the "mess" Bush left is.

  • So W is a Liberal (his dad wanted to clean up that mess) besides he didn't cleaned up anything in fact he forgot where Afghanistan was in the map (if he ever knew). The Arabs seem to find a way to screw things up on their land. The Real Saddam might not be dead, he might be having Bloody Marys with Dick Cheney in the UAE.

  • Actually, yeah W was too liberal for my tastes. That's why Obama won, conservatives are pissed off at "our own party", which it no longer is.

Saddam's ded, I saw the video and celebrated with a beer as his fucking neck broke. He was as evil as Hitler, but on a smaller scale.

  • You are right, in some ways he was too Liberal, but not in the trying to enforce a Moralistic Agenda way. I hope Saddam is Dead, he was an SOB not to mentioned mass murderer.

  • This song can be taken to mean a lot more than modern (90s-2000s) politics. Think back. Read history. Not just one or two hundred years -- go back farther. The screwing from the ruling class has a long tradition.

The "rulers" sow divisiveness among the many to where we can't seem to see past relatively petty issues or partisan bashing. We focus in too narrowly (and are kept so busy and distracted) that we miss the big picture. It's bigger than just the United States.

  • and look where all this talking got us

  • @virago2 This is not an anti-Bush video or song. It is describing the 'talking' actions of the Dems & any other leader or citizen who thinks that talking about it will 'solve all problems', just like Clinton & Dems, when Al Queda tried to destroy the WTC with a truck bomb, he knew who did it & where they were, but thought talking would stop them from coming back so he let them go scott-free, just to come back as they had promised, to destroy the WTC. 'Look where all this talking got us baby'.

  • @frankndebois I can't argue with your points. It's an incredible song preformed with unparalleled emotion from the lead singer. Just to be clear, I know the song and video were not written and made about Bush. I just have my own personal views about the man and I felt this song just happens to fit them perfectly, that's all ;)

  • @virago2 to put it plainly, this video soared right over your head.

  • @arskeeno for the record, I didn't say the video was about Bush or the war, but for the sake of arguments, why don't you just go ahead and tell me what it's about. ;)

  • @virago2 well i clearly misread your comment then lol, to be fair, the video could be interpreted several ways, but the images are clearly political and social leaders, as well as images of war, leading to me to get a very anti politician anti war feeling in the vid. and don't go thinking im a bush fan, im a veteran, i hate just about every politician out there. bush wasnt the best, but he was far from the worst.

  • i like the WWII Paratroopers and the Civil War ambush scene at the end, ,,great story set up

  • does anybody know the name of there very first album when he was only 16 cant find it anywhere preciateit

  • There first album was Death of a Dictionary when the band went by Public Affection. The also released EP called Divided Mind, Divided Planet under that name before they were Live

  • yeah they sounded like rem to much

  • haha your completely missing the point

  • Probably my favorite Live song.. and that's saying something.

  • Amazing video and song

  • wow man what a phenomenal video whoever made this...the black and white and the texture...and the current events...well done man

  • Thank You.

  • agree fits well with one of my favourite tracks ever

  • nice song for this.

  • Comparing Obama to Kennedy. What a joke. Like any of the liberals would ever be caught dead selling the people on "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country!"

  • There is no comparison, only noise.

  • Obviously not the official video since you have images of Barack Obama in it.

My buddy and I argue over which was the better album, TC or SS. I give the edge to TC, and especially because of this song.

White Discussion is the best song they've done. Mind you the other stuff is fantastic, but this song just hits you in the right place. The bass, the lyrics, the way it builds, and the way it all comes crashing down.

    AN incredibly strong, amazing song

  • I can't believe I forgot about this song, it's great.

  • This is not the official video that was released for the song. The original video has them rocking the fuck out in an amphitheatre while the audience goes nuts. Which is exactly what the audience should be doing with a song this good.

  • I was lucky enough to see them live twice back in the '90s. They came out and performed this as their encore and the place went absolutely wild. Everyone had been waiting for it. It was one of the most intense moments of any concert I've been to. Love this song and love this band. So great.

  • yeah that's the one i remember, great video

  • oh boo hoo!!! Want some cheese with that whine??

  • Whine? Hardly. I'm saying that this video is nothing more than black and white shit. If you aren't color blind, than I'm sure a 10th grade student could do better.

It's my opinion; welcome to it. If you have actually paid cash to see these guys in concert, you may have an inkling of what I'm saying.

  • look at you, all cute and wannabe elitist snob. shut up, do everyone a favor and never voice your horrible opinion again.

  • no, the video doesn't look that great. no need to be a douche.. unless you are one.

  • very nice job and great job capturing the emotions of the song

  • HEY RUSTY ,GOOD GOIN' DUDE~

  • I'm still wondering here!

  • what do you think?

  • GREAT FUCKING VIDEO!!

  • Did they really release this, or did that guy just make a movie and put this song on it?

  • Amazing song, one of my favorite live songs.

  • Ahead of it's time...

  • Their best song ever.

  • Powerful message.

Loved this song the first time I heard it.

  • great song

    one of there best

  • Intense, moving, painful, important.

    Great art.
