I wish I could meet Little Kuriboh and actually talk to him. Beyond that I wish that people would stop being so mean about 4Kids, sure they may have messed up a lot but I love the voices and the show even still. Screw the idea of releasing ONE dvd....why not make Yugioh Abridged Series into their own dvd boxsets considering LittleKurriboh is halfway through the 3rd Season already & making the "songs only" moments(Ex. Stand By Me, Out There, Without Yugi, Leather Pants,etc.) as Bonus Features? Gotta love the Hank Ishtar moment near the very end....Hank Ishtar For The Win!

Well, when 4kids made the Yugioh series, it's assumed in the US (most of the time anyway) that japanese animation is called "cartoons" so thus our poor, beloved Yugioh was made for kids. Not in defense of 4kids or anything, just a fact.

I'm a fan of LK because it's so rare that such a multi-talented person whose so modest comes onto the scene. But I mean, if you look at the dubbed version of Yugioh overall, it still retains a bit of respect. XD

Alright, you know what? 4kids gets a LOT of flak, and although some of their choices on what's not "kid friendly" might be somewhat overprotective, they have some VERY talented voice actors on a lot of their projects! Dan Green, Yuri Lowenthal, the list goes on. So seriously, cut 4kids a break and stop shitting on them 24/7. Also, most of the cuts they make are probably due to the network not being allowed to show violent acts/smoking/whatever, so they don't really have a choice.

@1993MovieMan Like you said, One Piece was the censors fault, and Funimation fixed that right up. Speaking of Funimation, they used to be just as bad as 4kids (remember Hell being changed to HFIL in DBZ?) and look how they turned out. And I think Pokémon sucking after Johto was more just because the actual show (as well as the franchise as a whole) started to go to shit around that point. Doesn't change the fact that I'll be buying Black/White. I don't even know why, but I definately will.

@TheRealBurninator Funny to say, I have NO preference on the voice-overs for Yami Bakura nor Ryou Bakura AKA "Good Bakura" to be honest. Yami Bakura was done superbly by LittleKurriboh since he sounds quite similar,but Ryou Bakura is as adorable with his British accent as he is with his kawaii visual features. I mean,who doesn't fall in love with Ryou Bakura when he has his angel-like smile & his eyes closed? Little Kurriboh missed the mark on Ryou's voice,but made up for it in random humor!

So many fans, including myself, would totally buy the DVDs.They could include bonus features like the specials, deleted scenes, commentaries, etc. I'm sure if a deal with 4kids is set up for this, 4kids could also get a percentage of the t-shirt sales too, which would only be fair. Not just that, but maybe through 4kids LK could arrange to do special videos and stuff with the original voice cast.

That would really be an incredible thing. Nowadays there are examples of anime series that got the gag dub treatment in order to boost their notoriety, like Duel Masters and Ghost Stories. Granted, it was because they weren't too good to begin with. However, Shin Chan was a heavy property and it got edited and reworked in USA, on top of the creative dubbing. I'm not saying that it could happen tomorrow, but this actually isn't such a bad possibility. Is 4kids up to the task?
