Another thing lacking - on the back - something that any new radio should have as a matter of course... an IF out for SDR monitoring! Will this be as slow in coming as USB outputs were/are?
Thanks for the 720p - for some reason the sound is only in the left channel... but that's OK for now... at least the pic quality matches the material!
@markbeermonster What dials? The monitor gain, compression gain, etc? They are great. You push in and they pop out so you can adjust them then push them back in to get them out of the way and keep them safe. Very well thought out way to put lots more knobs in a small space. And they are not flimsy and they are quite an expensive feature. Retractable knobs vs menus... maybe you would rather wade through a zillion menus to get to those controls like on brand Y.

Why did they leave those tiny little dials at the bottom for?
I hoped Icom would have sorted out a stronger better made dial rather than what looks to be the same as the IC-7400 - Flimsy.

@traplander Its the very bottom row of tiny dials I don't like. I own the 7400 and these feel like cheap wobbly dials......
Buttons or menus I don't care, I just want a quality product which feels like it fits the amazing price.
