I like his voice, but not the way he sang it. It seems he cut out the parts on no heaven, no hell, and no religion. No countries, either. That is a pretty important part of the song.

Not only does this guy have an awesome voice, he is one of the most humble person's I've ever seen before. Everytime I hear him sing, it sounds like he's crying. He has one of those voices that sounds like he's crying. Amazing. He has done so well. I am so proud for him.

Don't worry, David Archuleta won top 2 in the finale. Beyond AI show, Archie continues to be popular, famous, known internationally more than the winner. Daughtry was in the finale 4th and he's doing better than Cook as a rocker. AI prods/execs can't admit what they did so they cover up thru YouTube, slighting Archuleta's popular videos, make them APPEAR low views by remove/control placement. They prop up Cook, why do that, still continue, if the votes were done legit. Archuleta still popular.

Also, I am indeed on school vacation, but I'm also busying myself with voice acting, friends and sexual partners, music (I also have a private studio) and much, much more. OMG, I can't believe this guy did not win AI season 7. He made 3 perfect performances and he was amazing. He leaves me speechless too. I want to cry everytime I think of that night....sweet, cute and amazing and he should have won.
The kids got a great voice, but he completely ignores the proper dynamics for this song. Lennon wrote 'Imagine' as a quiet melody with lots of change in volume, tone, and lyrical spacing. David just belted it out like he was singing a Whitney Huston song with as much vocal footwork as he could possibly do. In a real music competition he'd get high marks for tone and the overall awesomeness of his voice, but would loose a lot of points for having only one dynamic range: Loud and Fancy.

Besides his accomplishments that you mentioned, his debut album went gold and is close to platinum. His single Crush is close to double platinum. Also, I am indeed on school vacation, but I'm also busying myself with voice acting, friends and sexual partners, music (I also have a private studio) and much, much more. I have to check my mail a lot and, like I said, I love debating, so get that through your thick skull before replying again like that. In fact I play piano, synth and, although I hardly have any confidence in my singing, I have been complimented and stressed to sing in my band.

Therefore, I must say I am more articulate in Dutch, English being my second language, taught by myself, so to me it's great to hear that I'm seen as being very articulate in the use of the latter. David sang this song in a style different from Lennon's and
made this version memorable and outstanding. I love David singing
this song the third time on the show, he played the piano and

The kids got a great voice, but he completely ignores the proper dynamics for this song. Lennon wrote 'Imagine' as a quiet melody with lots of change in volume, tone, and lyrical spacing. David just belted it out like he was singing a Whitney Huston song with as much vocal footwork as he could possibly do. In a real music competition he'd get high marks for tone and the overall awesomeness of his voice, but would loose a lot of points for having only one dynamic range: Loud and Fancy.
