Read up on NEV NEIGHBORHOOD ELECTRIC VEHICLES. Most have tax credits (this one has $4500 available) to the original purchaser only. NEV are street legal in all 50 states (mandated by the government). Each state has its own laws concerning NEV's

Thats the idea...no air bags or crash gear. Save money and go slower. The VOLT will probably cost 40K+
