This is in Stechelberg Switzerland--we've stayed there a few times and you can even see the house we stay at in the video. There are always base jumpers and parasailers there in nice weather---however, three people have died there in the last year base jumping like this.

@GromsKlinge242 most people die in base and skydiving from some sort of line twist when the chute opens. hardly ever do you get a chute that just dont open. impacts when flying close P are rare too. although this guy in the video (jeb) hit the rock a few months ago...somehow he survived with a few broken bones.

I've never even so much as jumpped off more than my front porch, but it looks like when they first jump off a cliff, they struggle for control for the first couple of seconds. Is that due to the lack of air flow in the suit?

@digitalfol Believe it or not... This guy is trying. He's trying to figure out a way to land with no parachute... I think the problem is that you are still traveling at REALLY high speeds in order to maintain that level flight. Can't slow down without losing significant altitude.
