  • got to learn this!! awesome

  • sounds great but where is the C section? It's my favorite part.

  • Faltou o conjunto de choro pra acompanhar esse bandolim/mandolim/whateaver.

  • Man I love this. To me Thile's ability is miles ahead of Marshall's but whenever I hear Mike play, his style and tone make him second to none (not that it's a contest anyways!)

Thanks for posting this, and if anybody wants a copy of this it's on The Mike Marshall Quintet's album "Tasting the Wine Country"

  • the pick click clacking agaisnt the fretboard from around 00:30 and again from around 1:15 actually adds a very cool percussive effect, underlining the melodic phrase

  • Viva a Ernesto Nazareth, Parabéns Mike Marshall.

  • incredible. great post. what an amazing player. check out his relaxed right hand.

  • MM And HH ;D

  • That Loar sounds amazingly good.

  • I see you added that info to the description. That was very kind of you. : )

Thanks again for the lovely video. I'll for sure be looking for more videos from you.

  • I'd like to add that Odeon was composed by the Ernesto Nazareth, 1863-1934, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

  • thanks!

  • You're welcome! I'm just glad to increase by even a little the exposure of music this substantive and honest.

  • Thanks Monolog for putting up so much of this woodsongs stuff on here. I watch that stuff religiously, and I've wanted to put the whole show up for ages, as well as a few other ones, but I've never put the effort into it. So once again, thanks!
