  • I feel Bad for Venezuelans they're being portrayed as ultra Ghetto Cuban Jerry Springerists... poor guys, as if the only words Venezuelans know are "kill jews, viva chavez lindo, culo, ass, booty, shake it, oye mami & jihad hijueputa"

  • I want to come down and fill-up

  • Que video tan estupido ! ! ! Chavez los tiene loco ! ! !

  • if you want to know the reality of Venezuela, come to my country and visit the popular sectors, neighborhoods inside the country. in these sectors will see another Venezuela. some people talk about the poor and they have never been there. thanks to President Chavez, the poor now have a better life. the media do not say anything about it. we have a participatory democracy. organized communities manage their own where they live

  • @2453freddy I wonder what tipe of democracy you guys have there... when Caracas votes for a Mayor who is in the oposition, Chavez doesent let him assume office, I think that in it self says alot about the type of democracy chavez is promoting in venezuela

  • Chavez is a communist pork. I know it because I'am a Venezuelan citizen.

  • stupid girl, yanki

  • Lo que mas me gusta de este documental ES QUE ES EN INGLES..VIVA EEUU

  • thanks for the upload. very informative.

  • im not impressed. its also old. i would like to see a more enlarged viewpoint. but thanks

  • HUGO CHAVEZ LOVES THE POOR.

He loves them so much that he is always creating more poor.

  • I believe that president Chavez´s perspective on socialism is very different than that he is trying to bring forth to the country´s reality. Perhaps he should, with al due respect, turn and see growing economies of isonomy and well-being like Mauritius´s. That is what socialism is supposed to be, then again everyone is entitled to an opinion. The equal treatment of unequals is too discrimination.

  • VENEZUELAAAA, LOVE YOU, BEIB!!!! GOO time ;D

  • here in vzla, we afront serious troubles, just watch the number of assassinations product of criminality:

    16.407 deads in 2010

19.133 deads in 2009 this in fact its worse that japan earthquake, chavez is a weapon of mass destruction.. for is own people

  • why yall have to be like that... mennn! yall fuck up thizx video.! how yall going to talk like that about my country.! soo disappointed of yall! and i know some of the parts of this video are true but respect my country .. (God) i know that the stupid president is a hoe and he should die.. but well just don't make another video like this one. plzz.! :/

  • Hugo Chavez saviour of the poor ;AND SAVIOUR OF PSYCOPHATHE COLD BLOOD KILLER LIK E KADHAFI , DICTATOR IN LIBYA , YES DONT ATTACT LIBYA

LET KADHAFI KILL ALL PEOPLE WHO DONT THINK LIKE HIM , PEOPLE WHO WANT BE FREE FREE , YES BE FREE , chavez shut your dirty mouth piece of shut

  • I'm Venezuelan, and they depict us as uneducated, gullible, and easy to brain wash. You forgot about the vast abundance of middle class intellectuals >: [

  • Something thath was not pointed out on this reportage: thath venezuelien girl got enough education level to get an offer from a NY's software company, and that education she got it in Venezuela very probably FOR FREE in a public university

  • @Leonardeti Don't mis-use the word FREE...nothing is free in life...don't act like the buildings, prof.. , books don't cost money...

  • @mrthink777 , you know what I meant by "free" I mean no fees to pay. Of course its not free, the public education or public health is actually payed by everyone throught "taxes", if not whats the point of paying taxes ? its to get public services. Walking on the streets its also "free" but knowing that the streets are made thanks to the taxes we all pay. Thats de kind of "free" I am talking about.

  • @Leonardeti Yes then it's not "FREE" because it cost money, just say subsidize that would be the correct word to use...and remember the US constitution did not state any public services besides the USPS. It was strictly made to give individuals more freedom to govern themselves. Venezuela will slowly fall...

  • me gustaria verlo en castellano

  • @niruflo Pues aprende ingles y velo de vuelta ;)

  • I meet a beautiful girl from this country to day and spoke to hear. I did not know anything about the country. she did not tell me about those problems but what she told me was .... I DON´T WANT TO GO BACK

  • Evidently this is one side of a story that has many sides. It is obvious that the message is filled with prejudice and preconceptions about Vzla. It really lacks serious content. Like usual, major broadcast corporation portraying a developing country like ppl with little intelligence and living in a dump. A shame.

  • I think the electric car would fit in perfectly into the socialist system.

  • The author also insenuates human rights violations in Venezuela, without offering proof (what a big surprise). The Journalist also tries to imply that there is a brain drain in Venezuela when this is not the case. There are a lot of fair critisms about Chavez: social programs that dont work, corruption, crime and being a cult of personality, etc. This could have been done objectively, been a fair critique of Chavez... But by basing the cirticisms in oil prices, it ignores too much.C+ Work Journey

  • The journalist makes good points about Veneuela and Chavez , but by the middle of the video his objectivity falls very very short. Not only through the practical means of not interviewing the experts on the left side, but also by glossing over the achievements of Chavez's government. Before describing Chavez's economic and social policies as being completely inefficient, the author needs to do a better job of telling us what the status quo was before Chavez.Socialism doesnt work, then what does?

  • @voicesoffear i invite you to come to my country, and be the judge yourself.

  • THIS IS TRASH CENSORED MEDIA. THIS IS ONLY TO MAKE HUGO CHAVEZ LOOK BAD.

  • Chavez looks corrupted, with army, against human in one way and for human in another, criminal and just big self-confident man.

  • Seguridad USA Riesgo Base de misiles Balisticos en Venezuela para aumentar el poder de disuasión

    watch?v=1CVJns92BgM

  • Venezuela is a developing country so it does out compete the rest of the developing world in relation to its welfare, as well as having a far greater health care system than most other countries, even in the developed world. Chevez does happen to look after the majority of the countries citizens which is far more ethical than adhearing to the aquisitive nature of the middle class. This documentary would have had more difficulty in finnessing the outlook of developing capitalists reformist states

  • The fact that Chavez is prescribed as privatizing his countries assets and making corporate deals with the rich doesn't suggest at all that hes running a socialist country, in the literal definition of the term. This is propaganda, and its discouraging peoples optimism for a more democratic and socialist system.

  • After USSR went down people in post soviet countries sad : '' Everything they told us about communism was false, Everything they told us about Capitalism was true'' 20 years later nothing has changed - Both systems don't work.

  • chavez mama huevazo colombia te hecha un patazo y tu lo veraz , fugaz sagaz its my lirycs tu tas .... fock .................. att smoke family

  • and furthermore, the U.S. has no right to criticize any supposed violence or use of force within a country, since it is currently in the process of bombing several countries, and killed around a million iraqis in the last decade alone. the U.S. is the most violent and aggressive government/business in the world. yeah, we're living pretty well here--at the expense of the rest of the world!!!

unchecked capitalism doesn't work--the businesses, with no interest in the people/environment, rule.

  • yeah, this documentary seems full of U.S. propaganda to me...i have a sneaking suspicion that we wouldn't be seeing so much anti-Chavez backlash if Venezuela wasn't so oil-rich...quite frankly, he seems like the most real, human and conscientious president i've had the pleasure to witness in my lifetime. sure, everything's not going to be perfect immediately--the country's in a transition...but it sounds like he is really trying to move in the direction of the people...

  • @crackfarm76 You are aware this isn't a U.S. documentary, right? I would've thought the strong accent would've at least given you a hint but from your comments I see that you're just oblivious.

  • @crackfarm76 He's a dictator. I used to have relatives that lived in Caracas. They got out and moved to the states.

  • @crackfarm76 You do understand that the BRITISH are not American. The United States of America is located in North America and the United Kingdom is in Europe. Just because we both speak English doesn't mean we are the same. This man speaking is BRITISH and not from the US. This is a BRITISH documentary.

  • @chairde this is an Australian documentary

  • @MerchantofTarshish Ah yes but still members of the British Commonwealth.

    /watch?v=FRrTzUbjYZU

  • @mixolidianmode Hahaha, I don't think so. Let me take a wild guess and say that you have not even visited all the countries that you just listed. Most likely you are a middle class person who still lives with mom and dad. You have never been poor and don't have a girl friend. I don't think you are ready to take over the world just yet.

  • Well at least socialist venezuela isnt as bad as capitalist mexico.hey everybody question which would you rather live on socialist state controled venezuela or capitalist businesses(not just corporate, but gang, mafia, cartel)controled mexico?personally i choose venezuela.

  • Take care Venezuela, you have much, much oil...

  • Corruption.

  • The only good thing that I noticed about this country was cheap price of gas. I worry about my "white" Venezuelan classmates whom I learned with in NY.

  • @pugyar Why do you put quotation marks over the word white? Do you not consider people who are not fully white(European), but have predominant Euro ancestry not white? A lot of black Americans are admixed and not completely black African, but they are still considered black.

  • @GGLebo23 After watching this video, I guess the situation of white Venezuelans

must have been worse than before since President Chavez took office. That's all what I thought. It's true that most African Americans are admixed and considered as blacks. I'm not sure whether it's bad to consider them as blacks. But I think the most serious racial bias against blacks are by blacks. In general, only light skinned blacks

are being put on a pedestal by blacks.

  • @pugyar You should watch a documentary by John Pilger entitled "The War on Democracy." He interviewed an upper class Venez guy that was doing a lot of whining, but appeared to be pretty damn privileged to me. Idk what the situation in Venezuela is like bc a lot of these documentaries seemed bias whether they are on the right or the left. I need an objective voice top narrate the situation.

  • pro American bullshit

  • the bitch is moving because she cant exploit the poor and she has to give back to the country she lives in

  • This was a proUS piece of bullshit propaganda. Fuck the US. They're just pissed they don't control the action in Venezuela. Hope Mr. Chavez keeps pressing forward!!

  • @eric5906 ...or maybe you're just an anti-american dumbass.

  • @mjkguy : I'm anti corporatism; I don't believe the US gov't has any right to dictate who runs another country, or who they do business with. I'm not against regular Americans, just they're oligarchy of a gov't. and the CIA. And for the record, my ass is very intelligent.

  • @eric5906 so you believe that a person cant own five stores, saving their money to build a giant store that gives people more jobs and money?if you socialist you believe that every person should only be only allowed to own one store? or if your communist you believe that all stores should be owned by the government?

  • Chavez isnt investing in anything except human misery and for savit it the decades for coming. We has no other source of money than oil an trading. If chavez was doing the things ok, with all the petrodollars income Venezuela should be at least over 16,000US$ percapita and HDI of 0,89, but due to corruption we are on 12,500US$ and HDI of 0,84.

  • This is the worst garbage I've seen. Venezuela is the best country in the world, the only country where you can drink beer next to a police, smoke a horn in the street, driving the car at full volume on the highway, setting up any business you want to. You who have trash in your head love this, so don't come to me with the stupidity that Venezuela is a dictatorship, get out to the USA to see if they can do at least one of these things.

    LIVE CHAVEZ! LIVE VENEZUELA!

  • @WilfrdzSolrzano yeah man, you can kill people, smoke weed, rape a girl if you want, because there are no justice or punishment, if you have money, you know what? i gonna take a gun and have fun¡¡¡¡ venezuela rulesssss¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • This is the most pro capitalist piece of garbage I've ever seen - just give it up. We are winning. There is a simple reason; there are more poor and oppressed people than our opulent and wealthy capitalist wage-slave owners. You will go out like the inquisition and people will look back and say why the fuck did we agree to this savage economic cult called capitalism. Obama is a tool of the rich - he's a career politician. He'll repeat whatever you put on the teleprompter. Wanker.

  • @vandalusian

If you consider economic ruin and being the number one murder capital of the world winning, then I suppose you're right. But if economic growth, prosperity and freedom is what you want, then free market Capitalism is the only economic model known to man that can achieve these goals. The problem with socialism is you finally run out of other peoples money to steal. If you believe in Socialism then you are an immoral thief and you need to change your way of thinking.

  • @jjrglobal Although I agree with you in most aspects and fully support a free market system, I would like to disagree when you say that being a socialist means being a thief. Not all socialism means a situation like in Venezuela. I understand, more than you could know, why you are so angry and frustrated with these "revolutionaries", but remember, you cannot command or force anyone to change their way of thinking. That would be the opposite of what you are saying and would make you one of THEM.

  • I know where the Europeans screwed up in Latin America; they should have done it like the US and completely wiped out the Native population then you wouldn't have any other races - you'd have a homogenous angry white Tea Partiers. Chavez all the way - and his "bizarre" revolution. The white imperialists thiink they can just rename the world in terms of countries and think we are stupid to think that imperialism doesn't continue; the time has come the guillotine awaits.

  • Perhaps Chavez is the cause of all Venezuela's misery, the info coming out of that country is confusing, but I do know for sure the limitless capability of a monstreous machine called foreing policy of the USA, yes, the one that freaked Chile (allende), Panama (noriega), Nicaragua and so on.

  • What is the song in the beginning? Anyone? REply if you know, thanks! :)

  • @Dslater417 Clue: He is from Puerto Rico

  • @o10ciano how bout you just tell me?

  • no dont go to america

  • Some things in this documentary are wrong, education and health, have been free since before Chávez, and oil was nationalized by Carlos Andres Perez.

  • The narrator says that "Chavistas" mean "Little Chavezes"... Lol... Chavistas are just Chavez's supporters as when we say Leftists...

  • Chavez is a fucking Stalin wannabe !! GO TO RUSSIA AND LEAVE VENEZUELA ALONE YOU FUCKING BASTARD !!

  • @jessuss91 Stalin wannabe? Chavez called himself a Trotskyist! Fucking idiot.

  • @SupremePenguinTone I am VENEZUELA DAMN FOREING COMMUNIST FUCK.... I don't care a FUCK if he is Trotskjyoa or anything!!! HE'S A FUCKING FARC TYRANT DRUG LORD !! now shut the fuck big Peguin bastard

  • @jessuss91 In English please

  • @SupremePenguinTone You're a fag penguin that's why you can't understand... now get lost

  • @jessuss91 Typical

  • I think Chavez did some good early on, but I wonder a little whether he might have outlived his usefulness and become a little too authoritarian.

  • @oystersdontbleed ; Chavez has chaged the face of the country...for better or worse..finally someone is doing something for the poor...not what U.S. consideres poor...I mean POOR !....not since 1957 has any gov't. done ANYTHING for the poor ! , they didn't even have a "Hospital" to go to. Unfrntly. U.S. style democracy, did NOTHING for them...PAYBACK's a BITCH !...I only don't like his asociation with Fidel...orther than that...He's OK in my book !...like anyone, who does good for Venez.

  • @rccl36812 hey man, i know, i come from South Africa, ive seen people in serious dire poverty, i know what it means. i also know that you need a skilled middle class to keep the economy running, and they are easily spooked, and tend to flee when things get testy. For instance, my dad hauled us out of the country a couple of years ago. There is such a delicate balance to uphold; socialism is a good thing, nobody should have to suffer poverty. To get them out of it, you need a skill-rich economy

  • More Americans need to see this video, so that we can all understand better what Comrade Obama has already started to do in USA, and what does NOT work. Yes, the man who campaigned to the RIGHT OF HILLARY CLINTON is actually an Autocratic Socialist like Meathead.

  • CHAVES tiene una cabeza carne, no?

  • I dont understand how ppl can be so ignorant!!! Poverty of other country is not amusing to me what so ever! They r families who work for little money to maintain starving Children and u have to make fun of it?

  • Comment removed

  • can i get the name of the person who made this documentary, I'm trying to cite it in an essay. thanks!

so watch what you ask for, you just might get it

  • Comment removed

  • I didn't fled to the U.S! My dad moved here for better opportunities which is always not true of the American dream either, I'm not rich but I'm getting my degrees/major here move back when Chavez is gone -_-

  • Comment removed

  • @popcyclon wow u sound so convening and ignorant at the same time but i guess u know more than me right? I ask my self why r u on to me? seriously dude I dont care what you do, but I choose to do ain't ur business..You dont know anything about me to assume such bullshit but I'll tell you this Chavez is another Fidel Castro is nothing anybody can do about it! So please go bother somebody else

  • This is kracka propaganda. Most of Venezuela media is controlled by demonic neanderthal kracka monkeys. They hate to see people of color do well so they push krackaganda to mislead people.

  • @barlog20 you are wrigth. the 80 % of the media is funded by chavez and government.

  • Comment removed

  • The USA is well on its way to becoming Venezuela - BHO wants to stop talk radio & limit what is said on the news -fairness doctrine-and socialized medicine of course. Sad.

  • Chaves sucks!!! He is destroying my country.

  • @Josiekitty87

Let me guess, you're a middle class prick. Fuck off and die.

  • @TheSpineyOne really?? people have nothing else to do than just start Drama? when did i said i was a middle class? u fuck off and mind ur own business ignorant

  • @Josiekitty87

I just don't like reactionary pricks like you. Of course you're middle class; how many people in the slums have internet connections? Forgive me if I have no sympathy whatsoever for middle class wankers who sat back and drank up all the wealth, happy in the knowledge that the poor were suffering. Chavez can kill the lot of you as far as I'm concerned.

  • @TheSpineyOne The only prick and ignorant Beecth is you!!! U calling me here middle class prick cause I have internet connection? where r u right now on library wasting my time with ur nonsenses...I'm here the only person who cares about the world and poor about other ppl, and u are sitting here wanting Chavez to kill innocent life..hear ur self dude ur just ignorant judging ur pic says it all!! Im not happy of any country povertylike you!!! Im against war and politics! so leave me alone!

  • @Josiekitty87 Sorry to burst your bubble but your country has always been in a total mess.

  • @SupremePenguinTone u r not bursting any bubble in my head first all I know how the world is runs!!! just ignorant like u keep coming on and talking crap as if they knew...as u say is a mess even if it was, so the people who live there dont they deserve a better happy living? U need a real world wake up reality to start a feud me....

  • @Josiekitty87 Chavez cut the poverty rate from 70% to 26%. He cut extreme poverty from 42% to 9.5%. Healthcare and education is free. There is now almost a 100% literacy rate due to Mission Robinson. Manual workers have recieved a 30% raise. Rights for Indians & Afro-Venezuelans have been increased. Unemployement has reduced by 50%. Workers have more rights, and unions are stronger. That is just to name a FEW. But I'm sure an American appointed dictator would be better suited to president right?

  • @SupremePenguinTone I agree that all of this is good, and I am rather partial towards Chavez myself, but are you not a little worried about sustainability? The oil wont fuel the economy forever. I cant say I have any answers, because being more business friendly can mean bad things, but i think we have to accept that things are more complex - Chavez is the best Venezuela has had yet, but hes far from perfect; and we would be doing Venezuelans a disservice by not offering intelligent criticism.

  • @oystersdontbleed Actually Venezuela just found more oil reserves off their coast which should keep them going for a while longer. They will soon have more oil than Saudi Arabia. But with oil being limited Chavez is investing in education, housing and so on, so with more educated people the economy will boom in the future and more money will be brought into the country. He's recycling resources with the future in the mind for bigger things.

  • @SupremePenguinTone Good joke....Made my night... Thanks

  • @SupremePenguinTone

Sure, Sure, Apparently first it has to get really bad in order for Communism to work later on. The only problem is that later on never actually comes around and before you know it the entire country is living in complete poverty. Chavez isnt investing in anything except human misery.

  • @SupremePenguinTone Man you are a VERY talentes comedian... Your ironic sense of humor really made me laugh my ass off...

  • @SupremePenguinTone Tone Man you are a VERY talented comedian... Your ironic sense of humor really made me laugh my ass off...

  • @SupremePenguinTone And thats the whole mess you trying to tell heh? Have u ever been there? have u ever lived there? And ur point is?

  • @Josiekitty87 what?

  • @Josiekitty87 YOUR NOT VENEZUELIAN , YOUR A PROPAGANDA SLUT.

  • @jamessawy And who the fuck r you?

  • @Josiekitty87 if you mean hes taking from the rich and giving to the poor, than hes just making your country a better place! stop being a media and US whore!

  • @Marin4o95 The rich still rich!! he making lot of people poor whom were middle class who work for their spots...he gives to the poor so he can be supported every time but still going to be poor after..so whats the solution?

  • @Marin4o95 do you smoke dope watching walt disney movies? do you think that things are black and white? i'm from venezuela and YOU dont have any idea of how things are here, we got "nice" turistical atractions like delincuency, misery, bad medical care, corruption that you never would undestand, corruption that violates every rule of human behavior, did a mentioned delincuency? (they kill you first, grab your money later), power cuts, food scarcity, they kidnap you and later they kill you...

  • @Marin4o95 ... and you can`t talk about this. if you talk about this, you can say goodbye to your job, and yeah, they mark your vote, so if you DONT VOTE for your beloved president, goodbye job, y will miss you... just dont be so nahive.. we have lions pretending being lambs, they are very real, and i can say "yeah i hate your country and your war in iraq" but in the end i sell to you the oil for your tanks and planes... actually my president chavez its the most loyal servant to USA policies..

  • @marcosvelarde83 OK! I can see you are very passionate about this and I am not trying to argue with you about your country, from my corner of the world :) the thing i was trying to say was that i think that chavez was less of a USA bitch than the others before him :) thats all. im sorry if i am wrong and I would like to learn your point of view :)

  • @Marin4o95 sorry for being so rude, but people need to know how things really are, dont trust people like chavez. dont spent your vote (asuming that you have age) on mesianic heros, nobody needs to be saved from others, people have to asume their responsabilities, thats the big problem, people believe the first impostor they meet.

  • @marcosvelarde83 ok, so if chavez is a dick too, than is there anyone with a moral sence in venezuala's political scene at all? :)

  • @marcosvelarde83 I mean - do you approve of any party or person in your governing body? :)

  • @Marin4o95 yes, but there are friends and family, even my own dad work "inside". so we know how corrupt and ineficent can be the system, even with the best intentions, any goverment above the law, with corruption everywhere is destined to fail. just watch what its happening in egypt. and believe me, if someting like that erupts here i goin to take the streets and protest, we spent 100.000 millions of dollars in ten years, and where are the results? the gap between rich and poor has become bigger

  • @Josiekitty87 the majority of the voting public in Venezuela disagrees with you BUT 9 PEOPLE DO AGREE! u know what...... i'll thumb u up as well

  • I'm an american and i love Chavez. I would never trust the main stream media to tell the truth about Chavez. If you allow poor people to become numerous they will vote in somebody like Chavez who address their issues. If you don't like the result leave. Thanks to Bush the american economy is manufacturing more and more poor people everyday so we will eventually get a socialist / communist leader here too.

Rich people are a tiny minority.

  • @tom6612 - have you ever thought of moving to Venezuela?

  • @tom6612 - now, seriously - 1:25 - listen to the woman - the worst situation is not the situation of the rich - the middle class is in the worst situation. And the middle class is always the most important to economy. Poor middle class = poor economy. Where the mainstream media are wrong - didn't he made himself a president for life? Didn't he close opposition newspapers?

  • @OlenkaWagner

The middle class and the super-rich both need to be crushed. Which one is dealt with first is utterly irrelevant.

  • @TheSpineyOne - this way you want to say that everybody should be poor. When you want to destroy middle-class - only the poor will remain. Equal poverty for everyone.

  • @tom6612 you love chavez, you have to be crazy.

  • @tom6612 you should come and live in Venezuela just for one year, that way u will see how good my president is :). Is easy to say that you love Chavez from the US, when u re not passing through what im passing.

  • @popcyclon

I'm sure you deserve it, reactionary bastard.

  • @TheSpineyOne reactionary? FU Communist de mierda. I don't deserve anything mtfcker you don't know anything about whats going on...

  • then your a byproduct of America's failed education

  • The rich man is a fool. He can never enjoy the tastes of a poor man. I believe Chavez is one of the few rich men who can taste what the poor man eats. He is spreading the wealth and not spoiling his country with materialisms.

  • @7514328 You have not been to Venezuela

  • El camino a siervo!

  • calm down.. :D

    go chavez!!

  • We will fumigate all of you "dirty worms" in November. Chavistas are like flies you love shit and everywhere you step on gets infected.

It is time to smoke you out of your holes.

Death to pestilent Chavez... Since he ain't coming out with votes, I hope he gets those little brains blown the fuck out.

  • What a slanted pile of shit this report is. All perspectives are from the anti-Chavez view point. Corporate news shows everything as black or white these days with no gray area. I don't support the man nor condemn him because I don't know enough about the reality of the situation but this report is nothing more than propaganda. Fox News with an Aussie accent. Is this a News Corp piece?

  • @uhyeahiguess Well, Chavez is trying to shut down the media in Venezuela against him. There are no rights in Venezuela.. no freedom of press.
